Cruise with the Nail Stars 2018

 St. Maarten

When disembarking the cruise ship, visitors can either walk or drive about a mile to the tourist district of Philipsburg.

In this area, visitors will also fine a beach with plenty of room for swimming and sunning. There beach goers can also find beach chairs and an umbrellas for rent.

The beach is part of the Great Bay waterfront and runs parallel with Philipsburg boardwalk where there are plenty of restaurants and shops to enjoy.

For shoppers, just one block down to Front Street is some of the best shopping in the Caribbean. It's long, clean and attractive. Most restaurants are clean and reasonable.

San Juan

For those who visit San Juan as a day stop on a cruise, the island's biggest appeal is the old city. Most ships dock right there in the heard of Old San Juan, which dates back to the 16th Century.

The old walled city has been exquisitely preserved and its sprawling forts, cobblestone streets, antique shops and art galleries make it an ideal first stop. Its main attractions include El Morro Fort, which dates back to 1539, the Cathedral of San Juan, where the island's first governor Ponce De Leon is buried. The streets of Old San Juan are lined with shops and art galleries. To take in the beauty of the island, travel outside of the city to the islands breath-taking beaches.
