Johan also enriched his career as Business and Market Development Manager in the Forwarding Industry. On May 1st, 2012, Johan joined Brussels Airport Company as Cargo Marketing Manager. Johan’s main responsibilities include offering operational support to the cargo airlines and assisting in their development at Brussels Airport. Furthermore, he also plays a key role in attracting new carriers to Brussels Airport and developing new route opportunities .

Natasha’s main focus is finding solid and feasible transport solutions for the perishables industry while adhering to the strict rules and regulations, without causing a negative impact on the shelf life of the product and preventing losses during transportation therefore remains.

Christopher Sturman is Chief Executive of the United Kingdom Food Storage and Distribution Federation, an appointment held since May 2009. 
His forty five year career in the logistics industry from early days with TDG, NFC/BRC Southern, Ross Youngs and Wincanton with wide experience of operational, tactical and strategic food supply chain and logistics management, followed by roles as Managing Director of West Kent Cold Storage and Chief Executive of Linq Alliance. Chris also has undertaken high profile consultancy assignments across the supply chain and logistics sector in UK, Europe, Central Asia and USA. 
Chris previously served as a Board member of FSDF. He is a Fellow and past member of the Council and Board, of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport UK, and is a Transaid Ambassador.
 
Dr Peter Wareing

Peter obtained his B.Sc in Agricultural Science from the University of Leeds, and a Ph.D in Plant Pathology from the University of Hull. Before he joined Leatherhead Food Research in 2001, he worked for the Natural Resources Institute undertaking development work on food processing and food security projects in Central and South America, Africa and South East Asia. Peter has many years’ experience working in microbiological research, development and training. His specialist areas are food safety systems including HACCP, microbiology and mycology, and is particularly interested in confectionery and snack foods, sauces and dressings, hot and cold beverages, and dried foods. At Leatherhead, Peter is an expert witness, he also provides advice in HACCP, risk assessments, supply chain issues, auditing, food microbiology and mycology, and general food safety. He undertakes troubleshooting audits and investigations for clients. He has written a number of papers, articles and book chapters in food safety and microbiology. He delivers food safety-related sessions on training courses.
