Significant Other Program
Join fellow significant others for an exciting experience of Coronado and San Diego. We've got a full agenda with activities on Silver Strand Beach, USS Midway, San Diego Zoo, Hotel del Coronado, San Diego Harbor Cruise, Balboa Park and Old Town San Diego.

Your $100 base registration fee includes the Sunday welcome reception, Monday and Tuesday breakfast and the Monday Bijou Showcase. In addition, you may choose to attend the Full SO program at a discounted price for $325 or choose individual events you would like to attend.

CMMA Gives Back: Silver Strand Beach Cleanup

For those of you arriving on Friday, we urge you to join us for CMMA Gives Back. We will be volunteering with California State Parks and cleaning up the Silver Strand State Beach across the street from the hotel.

USS Midway Museum

USS Midway was the United States' second longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century, from 1945 to 1992. Approximately 200,000 sailors served aboard the carrier, known for several naval aviation breakthroughs as well as several humanitarian missions. It was the only carrier to serve the entire length of the Cold War and beyond.The USS Midway Museum is located in downtown San Diego at Navy Pier. The museum also houses an extensive collection of aircraft.

San Diego Zoo

Pre-conference event that you will attend with your significant other. A living legend for 130 years. Enjoy brunch at the historic beachfront Hotel del Coronado and hear from a docent about the resort's rich heritage, local legends and most notorious phantom Kate Morgan

After brunch at the Hotel Del stay in downtown Coronado to take a stroll through the village and shop.

President's Welcome Reception

Please join us for the President's Welcome Reception at the Loews Coronado Resort, where CMMA members will show off their best work. Appetizers, soda, beer and wine will be provided.

San Diego Harbor Cruise
$38 a la carte or included with Full SO Program
Enjoy the best sightseeing on San Diego Bay—with a professionally narrated harbor tour of more than 50 storied landmarks. We’ll cover over 13 miles on the Big Bay, passing by Seaport Village, Shelter Island, ship-building and dry-docking facilities, Coronado Island, Point Loma, and Cabrillo National Monument, among many others. As we sail, we’ll see delightful marine animals and majestic sea birds, and we’ll talk about what local environmental efforts are doing to protect them.

Coronado Historic Walking Tour

Join us on a walk of Coronado, where you will learn the beginnings of a unique travel destination and how it flourished to be the bustling town it is today. Through intimate stories of famous residents, growing businesses, and historic homes, you will gain perspective on Coronado’s development. This stroll includes stops at the Coronado Museum of History & Art, L. Frank Baum’s home (author of Wizard of Oz), and ends by at the Hotel del Coronado.

Balboa Park and Old Town San Diego
$36 a la carte or included with Full SO Program
Spend the morning roaming through Balboa Park, San Diego's 1,200-acre urban cultural park. A hop-on-hop-off tram will take you through the park's open space areas, natural vegetation zones, green belts, gardens and walking paths. Then, the group will head to Old Town San Diego for lunch, shopping and visit historic sites.
 
5:30 - 10:00 p.m.
President's Dinner

Please join us for the President's Dinner on the Bay Terrace — the centerpiece of the hotel — with stunning views of Coronado Bay and the San Diego skyline.
