Ryan Jolly
Manager, Compression Programs
TC Energy

In the world of project management, we are always striving to control safety, risk, schedule and cost. We make exact calculations, operate complex machines, and conform to specific tolerances to ensure predictable outcomes. While winning at these hard, unwavering realities is fundamental, exceptional performance exists in the “soft” spaces between people, where genuine connections form the basis for supportive relationships.

Most professionals agree that a healthy, fulfilled, and cohesive team is safer and more productive. Despite this wrote consensus, complex projects continue to be susceptible to ugly disputes, finger-pointing and win/lose attitudes. There is a better way.

Ryan Jolly has dedicated his last 15 years to complex projects; in roles leading engineering, operations, planning and construction teams, volunteering with youth sports and not-for-profit boards, and most importantly, being a single dad to his nine-year-old son, Connor. Ryan has made it his responsibility to provide safe, open environments for people to communicate, support each other, and find new levels of personal growth.

Ryan is currently the Manager of Compression Programs at TC Energy, leading major projects including the Saddle West, Clearwater West, and West Path expansion projects. He is a graduate of the Schulich Civil Engineering program, with a focus on Transportation engineering and Project Management, and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Calgary.
