BHA Summer Hydropower Forum 2013 (Bristol)

Home
As far as UK hydropower development is concerned the UK Government's spending review has now concluded in a reasonable Feed-in Tariff structure. The industry has engaged in low gear after nearly two years of uncertainty and there is now a dash to make up for lost time.

The introduction of derogation of the tariffs has made getting into higher gears much more urgent. Everyone in the industry is affected, from developers and consultants to manufacturers and service providers, demanding efficient use and expansion of our hydro resources - people, projects, construction and manufacturing.

However, regulation does not get any easier as the pace quickens, meaning that we must be ever-vigilant on environmental issues.

The BHA Summer Forum will be an opportunity for the hydropower sector to share new experiences, consider regional differences, debate improvements and implement measures to achieve our goals.

If you are involved in hydropower in England and Wales, this is an event not to be missed!
