While you are in San Diego, be sure to discover all it has to offer! Start here with our top 10 things you must do and see while in San Diego! Stay hydrated and don’t forget your sunscreen!

  Balboa Park – Adore the outdoors in beautiful historic Balboa Park. The park offers 17 museums, botanical gardens, iconic San Diego Landmarks, stunning green space with massive trees to enjoy picnics, local artist and vendors at the Spanish Village Art Center, restaurants and much more.

  Cabrillo National Monument in Point Loma – Nestled in beautiful Point Loma, the Cabrillo National Monument offers the most spectacular views of the harbor and the city’s skyline. Come tour the park and visit the Old Point Loma Lighthouse while you’re there. When you’re done and headed back down the hill, be sure to make a quick stop at Sunset Cliffs and take in the beautiful bluffs that overlook the Pacific Ocean. It’s a picture opportunity you won’t want to miss. To round out your day in Point Loma, stop in and grab a bite to eat at the popular Liberty Market. An open air market that brings together the cuisines and cultures of San Diego.

  Gaslamp District and Seaport Village – Seaport by day and Gaslamp by night! Take a stroll through either of these areas and experience diverse shops, unique eateries and tons of live entertainment. These areas are close to the ballpark and offer great pre-game activities to do before or after the Padres game. Great news….its walking distance to the ballpark too!

  Hotel Del Coronado – Come visit San Diego’s iconic beach resort that has grace the presence of celebrities, dignitaries and US presidents. While at the legendary hotel you can walk and explore the historic charm of the Victorian buildings, have lunch with breathtaking views or just enjoy shopping for nostalgic souvenirs at one of the many shops!Want to explore more of the island? Take the Flagship ferry and enjoy a 15 min sail across the bay and explore more of Coronado. (Note: Ferry drops off at the Coronado Ferry Landing. You will need to take an Uber or Taxi to the Hotel Del)

La Jolla Cove – The La Jolla Cove is a beautiful secluded area where the cove and beach are surrounded by beautiful natural cliffs. The cove is ideal for snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking and swimming. So if you want to get wet and spend the day with marine life…this is your destination. Don’t want to get wet? That’s ok; La Jolla offers row and row of streets to shop and eat. You can enjoy beautiful walks along the bluff. Don’t forget your camera; you will want to snap some shots of the sunbathing seals!

  Little Italy – Looking for a dynamic food and drink scene? Little Italy offers authentic Italian restaurants featuring cuisines from Northern and Southern Italy.The area has become so popular; celebrity chefs have integrated themselves into Little Italy with trendier eateries. It’s a perfect mixture of restaurants. If you are free on a Saturday, Little Italy offers an incredible farmers market with local vendors and street side entertainment.

  San Diego Safari Park – Located in a separate location from the San Diego Zoo, the Safari park offers a different viewing experience of the animals than the traditional Zoo. This Park offers 1800 acres of free-range enclosures which house an array of wild and endangered species from different continents. Come and participate in one or all of the safari tours and don’t leave without taking the African Tram around the park to connect with the animals on a closer level.

  San Diego Zoo – Be sure to visit one of the most famous zoos in the world! The zoo houses an astounding number of animals. 4500 animals from over 900 different species to be exact! Don’t leave without visiting one of the coolest exhibits…..the Pandas! The zoo is one of only four facilities that carry the endangered species.

Sea World in Mission Bay – Come visit the amusement park that is known for its amazing sea animals, interactive attractions, aquariums and live shows. Sea World is conveniently located near the city in Mission Bay. Mission Bay not only offers Sea World but it’s also known for miles of shore lines that offer outdoor activities such as bike riding, sailing, motor rentals, paddle boarding and much more. If you’re looking for outdoor water activities that are close by…this is your destination!

  Torrey Pines Golf Course – Calling all golf lovers! Don’t miss out on the chance to play at one of the world re-nown courses. One of the most beautiful courses, situated on cliffs that overlook the Pacific Ocean, Torrey Pine is most know for hosting the PGA Farmers Insurance Open. Come play where the professionals have battled it out over the years.

  USS Midway  – You don’t want to miss the opportunity to visit this historic aircraft carrier. Imagine experiencing life at sea on the ship that served in wars and housed over 225,000 sailors. The ship acts as a floating city at sea that includes self-guided audio tours, flight simulators, the chance to climb in aircrafts, and so much more. Come experience it just as the Navy did when the ship was at sea!
