Bath offers a wide range of cuisine from traditional English food to European and World cuisine in independent, commercial and Michelin style restaurants. AA Rosette

Cloisters Restaurant at Bailbrook House, Eveleigh Avenue, London Road West, Bath, BA1 7JD

Set in the original basement of Bailbrook Mansion House the restaurant design takes full advantage of the stunning architectural features of this historic building. The fine dining menu is supported where possible with ingredients from local suppliers.

Regional winner of the Good Food Guide’s Restaurant of the Year 2015 and most recently listed in the Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants in the UK 2016, Gordon Jones is cooking up a storm with his surprise tasting menus.


Circus Cafe and Restaurant, Circus Cafe and Restaurant, 34 Brock Street, Bath, BA1 2LN

Small, busy, much admired, family-run restaurant; serving seasonal, locally sourced, freshly cooked food; interestingly chosen wine list; charming and welcoming staff; sensible and honest prices. Set in a fine Georgian house in Bath's most beautiful position - between The Circus and The Royal Crescent.


The Dower House Restaurant, Royal Crescent Hotel, 16 Royal Crescent, Bath, BA1 2LS

Where else in the world can you enjoy al fresco whilst surrounded by Georgian grandeur? In the acre of ‘secret’ garden behind the world’s most famous crescent – The Royal Crescent – enjoy 3 AA Rosette dining whilst relaxing in this typical English garden.


Olive Tree Restaurant & Queensberry Hotel, Russell Street, Bath, BA1 2QF

Proud to be one of Bath’s longest established independent restaurants, The Olive Tree has long been associated with informally-served, but exceptional, modern British food. Head Chef, Chris Cleghorn was the protégé of Michelin starred chefs Heston Blumenthal and Michael Caines and has drawn from this background to create his own unique style.


Allium Restaurant at the Abbey Hotel, North Parade, Bath, BA1 1LF

Allium Restaurant is within the elegant Georgian building that is home to the Abbey Hotel, right in the center of Bath. Headed up by executive Chef, Chris Staines, Allium offers a great menu of classic dishes alongside the more sophisticated using all of Chris’s creative talents.


The Marlborough Tavern, 35 Marlborough Buildings, Bath, Somerset, BA1 2LY

The Marlborough Tavern’s recipe for success is simple: serve great tasting, home cooked food in a welcoming pub atmosphere and back it up with friendly, efficient service. With homemade mushy peas, curry and tartare sauce on the menu, he is also offering customers the chance to try battered or grilled Catch of the Day which regularly includes whiting, gurnard, plaice and sole, and the best of seasonal seafood. At The Scallop Shell, the Catch of the Day sits in its own unique bath tub full of ice for customers to pick their own fish supper, with fishing related props filling the restaurant, giving it the intended the relaxed, mariner feel.

Graze Bar, Brewery & Chophouse is situated in the brand new Vaults development in Bath, next to Bath Spa train station. It takes the concept of its sister establishments in Bristol and Cirencester, fine ales, wines and spirits and a delicious selection of classic British and European dishes, and nudges it one step further with the addition of its own micro-brewery.


Grillstock

Expect elbow to elbow, down home proper southern style BBQ at the Bath Grillstock smokehouse. Everything is smoked fresh on site over hickory wood using our own seasoning and sauces.
