Before the Conference - Registration

As an accepted poster presenter you are required to register to attend the conference in full if you have not done so already. 

If you are only planning to present your poster for one day of conference please email me on JFrancis@rhaumatology.org.uk

Preparing your poster

Your poster must be A0 paper size in PORTRAIT layout

Please use clear type face, we recommend size 12 minimum so the poster is legible from 2-3 meters away and please ensure the title, authors and funding sources are clear
Keep the poster focused on the topic and your case report
Your poster can be printed on either paper or material
Include: Statement of problem addressed by project or research/evaluation question, selected graphic depictions of data, participants or before/after program effects, clear source of information, logical flow of information and explicit implications or lessons

Patient Consent Form

Any case which uses any patient information a patient consent form must be filled out before the case can be presented

At At the Conference - Poster set up

When you arrive at the Bath Assembly Rooms please make your way to the poster desk that will be located next to the registration desk, here you will check in your poster and receive your poster number. This is where your poster will hang for the duration of the conference.

It is your responsibility to hang you poster in the correct place, Velcro will be provided.

Poster tubes and folders cannot be kept in the exhibition hall as a violation of health and safety, please leave your carrier at the poster desk and will be eligible for collection at any time

*Please note. Please ensure your NAME AND INSTITUTION is clearly labelled on your carrier*

Poster Viewing

Posters will be on display for both days of conference, from Thursday 13 October 09.00 to Friday 14 October 15.20.

Thursday 13 October 11.15 -11.45: We ask that presenters with posters on Raynaud’s Disease and Infection and Arthritis to stand by their poster during this time to answer any delegate questions on their case.

Friday 14 October 12.45 – 13.15: We ask that presenters with posters on Spondyloarthropathies and Vasculitis to stand by their poster during this time to answer any delegate questions on their case.

After the Conference - Poster dismantle

Please dismantle your poster before 15.20 on the Friday 14 October as it will not be possible to enter the exhibition hall after this time.

Any posters that have not been removed by this stage will be disposed of.

BSR cannot accept any responsibility in the event of any poster going missing or damaged.
