Does it cost anything to enter?
The Snap-on Tools Apprentice of the Year 2016 awards are free to enter.
How do I enter?
Entries for Snap-on Tools Apprentice of the Year 2016 are open from 1st July. You can enter through the online entry form. Entry is a simple three-step process.
What are the key dates?
Please refer to the key dates on our about page.
Can I specify which category I want to enter?
The winners of each of the categories are decided by the judging panel, and not by the entrants. We recommend you complete the entry form to the best of your ability, and those who have amazing experience, or standout skills in the category areas, will be identified through the judging process.
How do I make sure my entry stands out?
Keep your answers clear and concise. The judges need to read a lot of entries, so keep your answers short – giving good examples of your experience.
What kind of references are the judges looking for?
The judging team wants to talk to people who really know you, and know your work. Make sure you let your referees know you're adding them to your submission, and advise them that they might be called from the judging team.
Who will judge my entry?
The judges are an independent panel of industry experts from a range of training and trade backgrounds. Find out more about the judges.
How will I know if I'm selected as a winner?
Winners will be announced on the Snap-on website and Facebook page by the 11th November.
