  1. Visit DC Monuments

    If it's Washington's monuments that you're interested, check out Destination DC's "8 Must-See Monuments & Memorials".

  2. Visit Smithsonian Museums

    More can't-miss sights in Washington, DC, include some of the 11 Smithsonian museums on the National Mall, all of which are free! We especially recommend two of the most popular ones, the Air and Space Museum and American History Museum.

  3. Take a Segway Tour

    Ever been on a Segway? Maybe, maybe not...but you probably haven't done it DC-style. A perfect way to take in the DC sights and sounds, there are Segway tour options for everyone; enjoy a monument tour, food tour, sunset tour, and more. These tours take off at different times, so be sure to look at the website for more details, and to sign up! The meet-up location for all tours is at at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave NW #82b, Washington, DC 20004, a short walk (0.3 mi) from the Willard Hotel. You'll find them on the concourse level of the Ronald Reagan Building (outside) on the lower level. Please be aware that all riders must be at least 18 years-old and under 260 lbs.

  4. Tour DC by Trolley

    Old Towne Trolley Tours (844-356-2603)
    Offering a wide variety of tours, including a 1- or 2-day hop on & off trolley, Monuments by Moonlight, Arlington Cemetery & Military, and DC Duck tours, this is a great low-key way to see the city and nearby historical sites and monuments. The hop on & off trolley stops at all major sites, including Arlington Cemetery. These tours take off at all different times, so be sure to look at the website for additional information, and to sign up. The hop on & off trolley picks up right outside the Willard Hotel next to the green fire hydrant at the "White House" stop.
