The ADB Governance Thematic Group, in partnership with the Development Partners Working Group on Decentralisation and Local Governance (DeLoG), organized a regional learning event titled External Support for Decentralization Reforms and Local Governance Systems in the Asia-Pacific: Better Performance, Higher Impact? at the ADB HQ on 25–27 August 2015.
The event aimed at enabling a structured exchange of information and experiences, lessons learned, and good practices. It was specifically adapted to the Asian context and provided a forum for joint learning of participants from successes and failures in supporting decentralized governance. The event was attended by ADB staff and practitioners from DeLoG member organizations and officials from partner country institutions.
