Kate worked in the SEM industry since 2006. She specialises in SEM strategy and understanding the Google AdWords Auction system, and frequently assists small and medium sized businesses on how to make the most of a limited advertising budget using Search Advertising. Kate is also a huge fan of online shopping and has bought just about everything you can imagine online - even a kitchen sink!

Wout Van Damme

Wout founded Funbox in 2003 shortly after relocating to Australia and is CEO of the Funbox Pty Ltd, a Multi-Channel Performance Trading Desk. With over 10 years experience in digital and mobile marketing and 3 years working with Ad Exchanges, Wout has build a wealth of knowledge with real time auction based media buying and DSP's. Prior to Funbox Wout has served in various sales and marketing roles at KPN Mobile, the largest mobile carrier in The Netherlands. Wout holds a bachelor degree in Marketing from the Hogeschool van Utrecht in The Netherlands and a post graduate diploma from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Sydney Australia.

Ben Cooper
Digital Director
The Monkeys

Bens trajectory in digital media runs parallel with the history of the medium. With 14+ years experience across London, Zurich and Sydney, Ben is a digital strategist regarded internationally as a forward thinker in this space.

Since 2009, he has been the Digital Director at awarded creative and content agency Three Drunk Monkeys – building the company’s digital team and capability, and maximising opportunity for leading finance, telecommunications, tech, FMCG and entertainment brands including UBank, Telstra, Google, Parmalat and AUSTAR.

He runs the Australian arm of Creative Social, the International collective of digital creatives, and has lectured in Digital Marketing for the Australian Direct Marketing Association (ADMA).

Prior to The Monkeys, Cooper was Partner and Senior Digital Strategist at social media start-up The Population. There he developed digital ideas for clients such as FOX8, Universal Music, Rockstar Games, Johnson & Johnson and Toyota. He held the role of Digital Strategist at creative agency Host (Creative Hotshop 2007 Digital & Interactive Agency) and Director of Digital Strategy at The One Centre.

As the New Media writer for Inside Film magazine, he wrote the cover story interview of YouTube co-founder Steve Chen. He has also featured in Desktop, Creative, AdNews and B&T and was interviewed by the ABC Media Report on the future of advertising. He has judged the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) Awards for the past three years, the Cannes Young Lions, Creative Showcase, Creative Hotshop and AWARD Awards.

He “gets it”. And looks forward to continuing help invent it.

Nic Chamberlain

Nic has over 14 years experience in strategy in the direct and digital space. He is responsible for all digital output for 303 across the Perth and Sydney offices, from Digital and Social Strategy to CRM and Web Development.

Previously, Nic was in London where he worked at a number of major agencies, including digital shop EHS Realtime, where he was instrumental in the development of the Tesco.com online business. Nic has experience across all sectors, from finance, FMCG, telecoms and travel, with brands including HSBC, Tesco, Volkswagen, British Telecom and 02.

Nic set up his own agency in 2003, Barraclough Edwards Chamberlain. As Managing Director Nic led the agency to client wins including Nectar, Premierleague.com, Daimler Chrysler, Macmillan Cancer Support and Morgan Stanley.  Nic left the UK in 2008 and joined 303 in July of that year, where digital clients include Harley-Davidson, Contiki, RSVP.com.au amongst others.

Working in the digital space since 1996, Tip’s experience spans interactive multimedia, digital video, online applications and major website developments. Tip is now Social Media Strategist at GPYR in Sydney, working with clients such as Arnott’s, Perpetual, Virgin Atlantic, and NSW Health.

Previously at Amnesia Razorfish, Tip ran social media influence-marketing campaigns for national and international clients, including Microsoft Australia, Pepsi Australia, Aussie Home Loans, Channel 9 and World Vision Australia

Tip is the author of www.digitaltip.com.au; a social media marketing and social strategy blog. In June 2009, Tip broke the HabitatUK Twitter Hashtag Spam story which shattered all records with 767 retweets and was picked up by TechMeme, UK Sky News, UK Guardian, Mashable and the NY Times.

She’s also a featured blogger on Social Media Today and is Digital Ministry AU’s Digital Champion social media advocate, particularly around building brands and customer advocacy using social media channels. Tip is passionate about all things social including Twitter, Tumblr, mashups and user generated content- particularly the rise of mobile user generated social content on smartphones.
