Jenny Kennedy Linton is OSIsoft's President. Jenny is responsible for operations as well as overseeing the management team of OSIsoft. Her strategic focus is to support the broader adoption and global growth of OSIsoft, building upon an installed base in more than 110 countries.
Jenny joined the company full time in 2001 and since then has worked in finance, recruiting, executive administration, management, and operations. She earned a BS degree in Environmental Toxicology and an MS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, both from the University of California at Davis.

Dr. J. Patrick Kennedy is the CEO and majority owner of OSIsoft. Under Dr. Kennedy's visionary leadership, the company has grown from a small software startup in 1980 to a highly profitable global corporation. Prior to founding the company, Dr. Kennedy worked as a research engineer for Shell Development Company and as an applications consultant for Taylor Instrument Company.

Dr. Kennedy attended the University of Kansas where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. A registered professional engineer in control systems engineering, he holds a patent on a catalytic reformer control system. He co-authored a chapter of the book "Planning, Scheduling and Control Integration in the Process Industries," C. Edward Bodington, ed. (McGraw-Hill Co., 1995), and is the author of numerous papers.
 
 

Paul McKenzie

As the Vice President of Manufacturing and Technical Operations (MTO) for Janssen Supply Chain (JSC), Paul McKenzie, Ph.D. leads the JSC internal manufacturing and External Supply Integration (ESI) functions within the JSC. Under Paul’s leadership the manufacturing organization is clearly prioritizing JSC’s reliability and technical initiatives across the internal and external network – leveraging resources where appropriate and ensuring equal emphasis on assets in terms of quality, service and cost. In addition to internal and external manufacturing, the Environmental Health & Safety, Sustainability and Crucell functions also report into Paul.

Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Paul worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb as Vice President and General Manager of the large-scale cell culture facility, as well as Vice President, Technical Transfer Governance Committee. Prior to BMS, Paul worked for Merck in various roles with the company’s large-scale organic pilot plant and Pharmaceutical Development & Clinical Supply pilot plants.
 

Johan Krebbers

The Importance of the Global IT Architecture

 
Since 2006 Johan Krebbers has been the Shell Group IT Architect and since 2010 as well the lead architect for the Projects & Technology Business in Shell, whereby the latter with a focus at differentiated IT. As Group IT Architect he is fully accountable for the IT architecture across the entire Group including business, applications, data and infrastructure, Johan ensures the Shell Group has a clear target architecture and roadmaps to achieve it. An integral part of this is maintaining relationships with a variety of external parties and constant contact with the multitude of internal business leaders.

Between 2003 and 2006 Johan worked in Shell’s Exploration and Production business unit as Infrastructure Architect. And previous to this spent three years as Architecture and Development Manager for the Shell Group Infrastructure Desktop (GID) project, which rolled out the same desktop infrastructure to 130,000 users in over 130 countries.

Johan has been with Shell for over 30 years in many different IT positions in a variety of locations in the UK and Netherlands, and is currently based in Rijswijk, in the Netherlands.
  

Ray Hall

Ray Hall

PI System Innovations for the Connected World

 

Ray began his career with the company in 2002 as a group lead and worked to develop PI AF which allows the definition of organizational assets for organizing PI data. Prior to OSIsoft, he developed batch automation systems at Sequencia and paper machine control systems at Accuray.

Ray earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State in 1983. He completed a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University California, Santa Barbara in 1985.

 
 
 
 

David Krenek

David Krenek

David Krenek has been in the oil and gas industry for 35 years, primarily in technical sales and service support roles for natural gas compression equipment. He has been with Caterpillar for 15 years managing application support, technical service support and product definition for Caterpillar’s Petroleum marketing unit.


He is currently based in the Global Petroleum headquarters in Houston, Texas and is responsible for developing and marketing a worldwide Condition Monitoring solution for Caterpillar natural gas engine applications.


Prior to working with Caterpillar, David was with Halliburton Company’s gas compression rental business unit with the last 4 years as Manager of Compression Engineering. David has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A & M University. He is currently a member of the Gas Machinery Research Council’s (GMRC) Project Supervisory Committee and active in the GMRC’s Gas Machinery Conferences. He has the distinction of commissioning the southern-most Caterpillar natural gas compressor package in the world. His hobbies include photography and singing.

 
 

Scott Key
President, IHS

Scott Key

Operational Excellence in Today's Dynamic Global Energy Market

Scott Key has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of IHS since January 2011. He served as Senior Vice President, Global Products and Services, from January through December 2010. Key joined IHS in 2003 to lead strategy, marketing and product teams for the IHS energy business, and has led transformation and growth across IHS operations in his eight years with the company. He was involved in supporting the IHS IPO, led corporate marketing and strategic planning, and has led acquisition integration efforts, including the largest IHS acquisitions. During his tenure at IHS, Key has held leadership positions that span each of the company's information and insight assets in economics, energy, security, product lifecycle and environment.

Previously, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of IHS Global Insight starting in September, 2008. Based in London in for 2007 and 2008, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Jane's and Chairman of IHS Fairplay. In addition, Key led the EMEA/APAC sales organization and IHS integrated sales team on a global basis. Based in Denver from 2003 to 2007, he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Marketing and led Energy Strategy, Products and Marketing.

Prior to joining IHS in 2003, he served as a senior executive in energy technology and services, based in Houston. Mr. Key served as deepwater development manager for Vastar Resources from 1998 to 2000 and was employed by Phillips Petroleum in a range of international and domestic roles of increasing scope from 1987 to 1998.

Mr. Key holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both physics and mathematics from the University of Washington in Seattle as well as a Master's degree in geophysics from the University of Wyoming.

Jim currently holds the position of Senior Advisor in the Global Upstream IT organization and works on topics related to the Future of the Upstream IT function including the data foundation and integration framework needed for the Digital Oil Field and development of organization capability to meet the requirements of the emerging world of the digital engineer.

Jim graduated from the Colorado School of Mines before joining Chevron in Denver, Colorado. He later earned an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University.

In acknowledgement of his contributions in applications of information technology to business problems and in working to develop industry standards in electronic data exchange, Jim was named a Chevron Fellow in 2002.

C. Dewey Forrester, Jr. is senior director for the Global ISV Partner team in Microsoft’s Server and Tools business division. He is responsible for identifying and investing in global ISV partners that wish to accelerate commercial adoption of Microsoft’s latest technology.

Over the past 10 years, Dewey has led various technical, marketing and business development teams to help Microsoft secure the future of the platform through ISV partners. He has also championed several strategic initiatives that have resulted in key changes in how Microsoft partners with top Global ISV companies.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Dewey spent 15 years in process manufacturing where his responsibilities ranged from new product development to global sales and technical leadership. He is a 1984 graduate of Georgia Tech’s school of engineering. Outside of work, Dewey tries to spend his free time in the gym, waterskiing, or playing the piano for various charity events.

John Baier

John Baier is the Director of Marketing at OSIsoft, which includes Product Management, Product Marketing, and Marketing Communications. In his role, John and his team work with OSIsoft customers to understand their needs and translate those into PI System capabilities that can deliver the most customer value. His team also works on simple and effective explanations of the PI System for existing and prospective customers, helping them to move forward to meet business challenges using real-time data. John came to OSIsoft 4 years ago after 23 years at Rockwell Automation, where he held a variety of roles in software engineering, engineering management, business management, and software architecture. He has over a dozen US Patents to his name in the area of plant floor information management and factory controls.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University.

Dean is the Vice President of Global Foundation Services for eBay Inc, the world's largest online marketplace. He is responsible for Strategy, Architecture and Operational functions of eBay's Mission Critical Data Centers, Networking and Security Infrastructure Services and Global Supply Chain. Dean is also a core member of the eBay Green Team.

Dean has been in the high tech industry for 22 years in technical roles ranging from Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, IT, Real Estate and Mission Critical Operations. Dean spent 17 years at Sun Microsystems where his final position was Sr. Director of Global Lab & Datacenter Design Services responsible for managing Sun’s multi-billion dollar global technical infrastructure portfolio.

Dean is a member of The Green Grid End User Advisory Council, Technical Advisory Board for Mission Critical Magazine, Founder of Data Center Pulse - an exclusive datacenter owner community, author of the Sun Microsystems Blueprint series, Energy Efficient Datacenters, featured as a Sun Microsystems Contrarian Mind, and was identified by SearchDatacenter.com as one of the top five people who changed the data center. Dean is also the recipient of Sun's prestigious Innovation Award. Dean is also an avid blogger through his Geekism blog.

 

 
 

Martin Otterson

Martin Otterson has more than 15 years of software industry experience and success. At OSIsoft since 2002, he has led the penetration of the IT market by OSIsoft and the PI System. Today, the result of this effort is a strong position of OSIsoft in the Data Center market space and a clear strategy on how to be successful in this market. As the Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing, and Industry, Martin leads OSIsoft teams on the effort to maintain market leadership in streaming data and events infrastructure for the energy and manufacturing industries.

Prior to OSIsoft, Martin worked at Cisco Systems, where he was instrumental in the Cisco Systems acquisition of the Unity product line from Active Voice. He began his career at Active Voice, where he provided senior leadership in the Unified Communications marketing and sales strategy, and drove strategic partnerships, customer acquisitions and business development.
