18th National MEDA Conference
April 5-6, 2013
 
The 18th National MEDA Conference Finding Common Ground: An Interdisciplinary Dialogue on Treatment Today will spark a cross-discipline conversation on eating disorders and body image. Presentations will provide unique and dynamic perspectives to better understand the current research and concrete skills necessary to treat these disorders. Click here to view Conference Brochure. The Conference will feature Keynote speakers Dr. Cynthia Bulik, Dr. Ovidio Bermudez, and Dr. Roberto Olivardia.
 

MEDA Conference Participants will:

  • Learn concrete skills that can be translated into practices.

  • Understand the role that genetics, family systems and co-occurring disorders play in the onset and treatment of eating disorders.

  • Manage care of eating disorder clients through unique and creative treatment modalities. 
Conference Tracks include:
 
Treatment, Education & Prevention, Family, Co-occurring Disorders, and Special Topics.
