Responding to transnational crime

The Australian Institute of Criminology is pleased to announce that it is partnering with the Australian Crime Commission to hold its 2nd International Serious and Organised Crime (ISOC) 2013 conference at the Brisbane Convention Centre on July 29-30 2013, following on from the first successful ISOC held in Melbourne in 2010.

Current and future responses to transnational crime will be discussed, with the overarching themes of future directions for law enforcement and organised crime, organised crime risks, and, policing organised crime. Presenters will explore the range of international issues involved in understanding serious and organised crime:

Participants will hear from a range of invited international and national speakers, drawn from law enforcement, academia and government.
