Dublin City Sightseeing Tour
Tuesday 25th June

The group will enjoy a half day guided sightseeing tour of Dublin. The tour will provide an introduction to Dublin taking in its many sights and attraction including O’Connell Street, the Georgian squares of Merrion Square and Fitzwilliam Square, Phoenix Park, home to Dublin Zoo and Áras and Uachtarián - the residence of the Irish President. Other features include Christchurch Cathedral, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Government Buildings, Dublin Castle, Temple Bar, St. Stephen’s Green and Grafton Street.

The highlight of the tour will be a visit to Trinity College Dublin where you will be welcomed at the Old Library and the Book of Kells Exhibition – a “must see” on the itinerary of all visitors to Dublin. Located in the heart of Dublin City, a walk through the cobbled stones of Trinity College Dublin will bring visitors back to the 18th century, when the magnificent Old Library building was constructed. Inside is housed the Book of Kells – a 9th-century gospel manuscript famous throughout the world.

Glendalough & Powerscourt
Saturday 29th June

Guests on this tour will be visiting Glendalough valley, nestled in the Wicklow mountains. You will get an opportunity to see the world famous monastic site with St Kevin’s Round Tower. Enjoy the green scenery and surrounds of the countryside. From the gentle wilds of Glendalough, guests are then taken to the beautiful grounds of Powerscourt House & Gardens. Powerscourt is one of Europe’s great treasures and Ireland’s most famous House & Gardens. Gracing the Wicklow Mountains the beautiful manicured gardens and hidden treasures are awaiting for you to explore.

Newgrange Megalithic Tombs
Saturday 29th June

Take a drive through the historic Boyne Valley- a listed world heritage site. Discover the many famous landmarks as far back as the Neolithic Period which are dotted across this beautiful landscape. A visit to the ancient site at Newgrange is included, a magnificent example of prehistoric craftsmanship. 5000 years old, this building is a thousand years older than the Pyramids. A magical journey through time and legends that is the Boyne Valley.

The tour will include a visit to the Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre and the Neolithic tomb.
