The Security Confab 2012

In 2006, The Security Confab started as a sharing exercise between the IT groups of eBay and Sallie Mae.  It quickly grew into an international gathering of business and security executives sharing their ideas and visions on what lay ahead in the world of security.

What sets The Security Confab apart from other enterprise security conferences are two primary features…

  1. At The Security Confab, attendees and presenters focus on what’s coming.  This lens on the future of security allows organizations to gather proactive  strategies, rather than simply remaining reactive to threats.
  2. The Security Confab is designed to foster discussion among attendees.  Through rapid-fire presentations, attendees are introduced to several concepts and strategies – then encouraged to continue the discussions with fellow attendees during the many networking and discussion breaks.

The Security Confab is produced by CSO magazine in collaboration with conference chair Jerry Archer, CSO of Sallie Mae.
