Barb Rembiesa

With a history of senior management roles within financial, services and IT consulting firms, Barb Rembiesa, founder and CEO of the International Association of IT Asset Managers, Inc. (IAITAM) has brought over 20 years of leadership to the organization.  For over 9 years, as the driving force and conceptual architect of the only global IT Asset Management focused organization, Barb has groomed IAITAM into a world-wide educational practice with individual and enterprise members in over 50 countries, and offices in the U.S. and Japan.  IAITAM’s Asset Management certification courses have become the industry standard, and are endorsed and required byorganizations striving to maximize their IT spend, reduce risk and create efficiencies for their budget dollars.
 
Barb’s philanthropic actions have awarded her ISO/IEC JTC1 SC7 WG21’s first ever Platinum Special Contributor award; the highest level of recognition within the SAM Standards community.  The award is recognized by the SAM Standards Working Group and was presented by the International SAM Standards User Group.  Barb supports many charities such as Wigs for Kids, the Young Marines and Toys for Tots and routinely contributes her time to the community.  
 
Barb is also an honorary Fellow of IAITAM and guides the committee and has received numerous tributes personally and for the IAITAM organization.  Barb has always, and continues to be a driving force and leading advocate for the ITAM industry.
 
 
 
Lynne Weiss

Lynne Weiss brings 20 years of experience in key IT sales positions.  Lynne’s career has focused on technology where she has successfully built client bases across industries through targeted marketing around the globe.  She has worked on programs to educate and cultivate partners and management of sales teams.  In her current role, Lynne is responsible for building awareness of the association and its benefits to the IT asset management profession as well as building and managing IAITAM relationship programs.  Additionally, Lynne contributes strategic direction for programs and services as a member of IAITAM’s executive team.
 
 
 
Marc Beachler

As the Sales Executive for Cross Brand Channels for the IBM Software Group, Marc Beachler is responsible for leading North America Software Group for System Integrators, zSeries Software Business Partners and IBM Software Group's Value Added Resellers. Marc's business unit consists of Twenty Five people and contributes over1B dollars in influence and resell revenue.  Marc's teams provide our channel partners with the consultative relationships to leverage these opportunities through incentive programs, demand generation, sales execution; both by teaming with IBM and driving Business Partner autonomous solutions to our mutual customers.  

Marc has held a number of roles within the IBM Software Group since joining IBM in 1996 as part of the Lotus software acquisition, including direct sales and sales management, business partner sales management, Technical Sales and Channel Program Management. This cross section of expertise provides his teams and our partners with a unique set of skills to drive profitable BP growth and a track record of over budget performance.
 
 
Rick Klein

Rick Klein has held numerous management positions within IBM over the past 34 years. He has significant experience in both direct and channel sales, technical support, quality management, process re-engineering, project management, and channels management. For the last 10 years, Rick has been part of IBM’s software sales organization, supporting software business partners across all platforms, industries, and customer segments.  

Rick is a graduate of both the University of Illinois in Champaign, and Loyola University of Chicago. A “native” Chicagoan, he currently lives with his wife of 33 years in Naperville.

 


Nelson Wang

Nelson Wang is a thought leader with an unrelenting passion to better the world through technology by inspiring customers, partners and peers.  He believes every high performing channel organization needs to embody three key elements: Innovation, execution and extraordinary people.   Nelson, who served at Cisco prior to joining VMware, has experience in IT sales, channels, management, marketing, training and operations experience for the IT industry.  Hand picked by Cisco to enroll in a high potential sales and technical one year intensive training program, Nelson has gone on to win numerous awards at Cisco and VMware. In 2011, he developed six iPhone Apps that have amassed over 75,000 downloads to date, and his top app "Interview Questions Pro" hit #3 in the business category.  He is also a published author and his business book "The Resume is Dead" has over 24,000 kindle downloads and peaked at #1 in the resume category. Ryan Garber

Ryan Garber, a Microsoft volume licensing specialist with CDW, provides enterprise-level customers with strategic and comprehensive consultations around the software lifecycle. Utilizing his acute knowledge of high-end volume licensing agreements, paired with a Strategic Asset Inventory certification, Ryan aims to assist IT stakeholders and decision makers in establishing a plan starting with software asset inventory, through procurement, deployment and ending with technology validation.  Ryan has been executing his Microsoft volume licensing knowledge with CDW for the past nine years, and has a successful track record of allowing customers to realize the true ROI of their software investment.
 
 
 
 
Jack Petramala
Senior Manager –East Region Software and Solutions Manager

Jack Petramala, Senior Software and Solutions Manager, leads a team of licensing specialists who work with clients to optimize their software needs within their infrastructure. The licensing team works hand in hand with a customers’ dedicated CDW account manager to maximize their software investment as well as recommend software solutions to further their business objectives. Jack’s, and the team’s, goal is to help clients optimize their software life cycle.
 
Jack has been with CDW for more than 12 years, working closely with CDW’s software practice. He has served as a security architect for CDW, advising clients on optimizing their security infrastructure.  Jack then moved on to the role of the metro sales manager for the Washington, D.C. region, where he co-created CDW’s commercial sales office in Herndon, Virginia.

 
 
 
Michael Rosen

Michael Rosen, a certified Microsoft licensing specialist, has provided IT solutions to enterprise-level customers across multiple verticals, assisting several IT stakeholders in the decision-making process as it pertains to the four stages of the software lifecycle. From asset inventory and compliance to deployment and IT validation, Michael utilizes various CDW solution resources across the Microsoft product library, allowing customers to think strategically about license procurement, deployment, and technology validation.  This formula has increased ROI across the board, and has re-iterated the value proposition CDW brings to the enterprise.
 
A George Washington University alumni with a major in management information systems, Michael has been with CDW for more than 8 years.

 
 
 
Harry Zoberman
Vice President, Software Solutions

Harry Zoberman is vice president of software solutions for CDW, a leading provider of technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare.Zoberman is responsible for the overall sales strategy of all software and related solutions and managing relationships with software technology partners and providers.

Prior to joining CDW in 2010, Zoberman held a number of director and executive-level roles in various organizations in the IT channel and beyond. These include his role as president and CEO of MTC Performance/Spiffs.com (2008-2010), SaaS provider of partner incentive systems for the IT community. Additionally, he served as a consultant and adviser with Sterling Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm with $4 billion of capital under management (2006-2008). Harry also served as senior vice president of ASAP Software (1990-2006), helping establish ASAP as one of the leading software VAR in the world. Prior to that, he held various director-level roles with McMaster Carr Supply Company (1981-1990), a leading privately held distributor and industrial supplier in the United States.

Zoberman earned an M.B.A. in marketing and international business from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in marketing from the University of Illinois. He participates in numerous technology industry advisory and editorial boards and is a certified docent and active with the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center.

Stephanie Kardaras, CDW Solution Manager Software Asset management practice, leads a team of specialists trained to assist businesses with best practices in building a SAM strategy.  Teaming with a company’s dedicated CDW account manager along with CDW certified software licensing specialists, they assist in the discovery process and play a role in recommending software designed to help ensure compliance, usage, deployment and ROI.
 
Stephanie has been with CDW for 12 years, holding various roles involving licensing top software partners such as Microsoft, Adobe, IBM Software, Symantec, Autodesk, Oracle, LANDesk, Quest Software, Citrix, VMWare, Novell, RedHat, etc.  Stephanie enjoys the challenge of helping customers make sense of  the complexity of software.

Charles has been an IT and business journalist for more than 20 years.

He also has served as an adjunctprofessor at the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley. He is former editorial director of events at The Industry Standard and managing editor of research and events at InformationWeek. John has programmed, hosted and moderated events ranging in scale from intimate focus groups to 6000-person conferences. He has managed B2B and B2C phone, email and Web research and event experience surveys with up to 20,000 respondents per survey.
