When the women in the higher ranks of the aviation industry began their careers, they were paving the way for future generations in a predominantly male industry. Now these distinguished executives serve as inspiration to younger women developing the technologies that fuel the aviation industry. The finalists for the Avionics Woman of the Year will join the winners of the Emerging Leader and Corporate awards to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented to women in their career advancement, how they are able to create a work-life balance, the importance of mentoring younger women in the field, and the future for women in the avionics industry.
