Bossy Pants: Making the Transition from Designer to Design Leader

Tuesday, May 5 • 3:00 – 3:45pm

Many of us in-house designers climb through the ranks and then one day—and we’re not sure how this happens—WE become the boss, totally unprepared and without any aptitude or prior training. Glenn will trace his own journey from designer to design director and discuss the core competencies and skills needed to successfully manage projects, processes and lead a team of corporate creatives.

3 Main Takeaways:
  1. Learn to navigate the transition from designer to design leader.
  2. Find out how to effectively manage projects, processes and people.
  3. Get a better understanding of the core competencies needed to be an effective design leader.
