Brian Wood is a web developer and Adobe certified instructor in Acrobat X Pro, Illustrator CS5 and Dreamweaver CS5. He’s written eight books, including Illustrator CS6 Classroom in a Book and Adobe Muse Classroom in a Book (Peachpit Press), and created numerous training DVDs on such creative tools as Muse, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat. In addition to training many corporate clients, including Nordstrom, REI, Boeing, Starbucks and Nintendo, Brian speaks regularly at national conferences such as Adobe MAX, The InDesign Conference, The Web Design Conference and The Creative Suite Conference, as well as events hosted by AIGA and other industry organizations. These days, more and more print designers are branching out into web design to broaden their professional horizons. But it's never easy just to wade into the deep end of the web pool without a few basic skills to keep you afloat. In this workshop we'll cover some of the challenges you’ll encounter in your transition from print to web—and give you tools and advice for diving right in.
