DOMUK are pleased to announce a joint study day with the Paediatric Group on Friday 19th, September 2014 on the topic of:
 
'Childhood Obesity Beyond Healthy Eating And Being More Active'
Reviewing some of the more complex issues involved with managing this patient group.

This study day is for you whether a specialist Paediatric Dietitian working in the field of obesity or somebody who will see obese children as part of their workload.

Topics covered will include:

- working with children with autism, Prader Willi Syndrome
- genetics
- consideration of when surgery might be the answer
- interactive sessions on autism and weight bias
- safe gaurding issues
- evaluating service

There will also be a networking and poster session which
will provide an opportunity to showcase your service's work and/or research.

The event will be held at The De Vere Venues, Colmore Gate, 2-6 Colmore Row, Birmingham and
registration will commence at 8.45 for a 9.15 start. 

The fee is £50 for members of DOMUK and Paediatric Group and £75 for non members.
