Prepare for your future as a designer with AIGA Iowa’s sixth annual Get a Job Boot Camp. First-time job seekers, internship-hunters, and soon-to-be-graduates will learn how to succeed in today’s challenging job market from seasoned design professionals and receive valuable feedback during a portfolio review session.

AIGA Member: $10 (includes lunch)
Nonmember: $60 (includes lunch + 1 year AIGA Contributor level membership)

Sorry but registration for this event is closed. Walk-ins will be accepted the day of the event, however, an additional $10 registration fee will be added to the admission price and does not guarantee lunch.

Openly discuss topics ranging from interviewing to organizing and presenting your portfolio to expectations in the work place with a variety of hiring and human resource professionals.
11:45 am - 12:45 pmLunch + Speed Mock Interviews
Mix it up and talk with fellow students from surrounding area colleges and several local design professionals. Also, experience what an interview would be like and the questions you might be asked.
1:00 pm - 2:45 pmPortfolio Reviews
Discuss your portfolio 1-on-1 with up to 3 different local design professionals. Don't have a portfolio? No big deal, just bring any work you have or participant in a small roundtable for a more informal Q&A and critique.
2:45 pm - 3:00 pmClosing + Prize Raffle
