WordPress Workshop
WordPress Workshop
Launch an online portfolio in a day at AIGA Iowa's WordPress Workshop. This special event is for AIGA members only and has limited seats available, so sign-up early!

In this basic level, hands-on class, you will purchase a domain name, launch a WordPress site and learn to make some basic modifications to your WordPress theme. Emphasis will be put on creating a personal portfolio website, but all websites will be discussed.

Bring your own laptop computer, or work on the computers in the lab. We recommend you bring portfolio-quality images of your work, sized for the internet. Professor Snider recommends that you purchase a domain name and hosting during the session for roughly $50, so bring credit card information. More details on this will be included in your email registration confirmation.

Lunch will not be provided, but we will break for lunch. A soda machine is available in the building.

This workshop is open to AIGA members only:
Sustaining member & above: $15
Supporter: $25
Contributor: $35
