The ADMEI Annual Conference is the only conference for the destination management profession. DMC Institute
Our popular introduction to the DMC industry is back!  This workshop on Thursday morning from 8:30 - 3:00 pm is an interactive session that provides in-depth look at all aspects of a destination management company. Designed for new staff interested in the DMC profession, registration for the Institute includes a copy of Best Practices in Destination Management, which is the primary source book for the Destination Management Certified Professional® (DMCP) exam. This program is lead by Nicole Marsh, DMCP, CMP, President, Arrangers DMC and Kevin Brewer, DMCP, COO, Leo Events.  Sending your staff to this AND the conference?  You get a $45 discount!

Two of our speakers, Jeff Beals and Jim Feldman, have agreed to offer individual coaching sessions.  These 25 minute sessions will help you focus on one or two key elements that will help you improve your sales track record.  There is an additional fee for these coaching sessions - and they are available on a first come, first served basis only! We know that some of the most effective learning at our conference occurs during our networking sessions.  From our Opening Reception on Thursday evening through the ADMEI Achievement Awards Event Gala, our conference committee has an excellent array of events planned just for you.

Build a Wheelchair
On Saturday afternoon, you don't want to listen to anybody else.  Best Corporate Events is going to deliver a customized version of its trademarked "Build-a-Wheelchair®" CSR event for ADMEI members. The program includes iPads with fun photo and video challenges. The results of our teambuilding effort will be given to disabled veterans who cannot afford a new wheelchair.

You wouldn't be a destination management professional if you weren't curious about our conference city!  We've planned a Washington Whirlwind Tour on Thursday from 12:30 - 3:00 pm. Extra fee.

We will all get to see the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum on Friday evening!   And for those who don't want the evening to end early, join the ADMEI Pub Crawl to explore some of the more fun bars in town.  We'll drop you off as we leave the museum - you're on your own returning to the hotel!
