What's the schedule for Interweave Knitting Lab?
Classes take place on Thursday, May 15 through Sunday, May 18, 2014. 
Special Events take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday—see SPECIAL EVENTS tab for complete details.  
The Knitters’ Market is open for shopping on Thursday evening, Friday, and Saturday.  The Market is free of charge to all registered participants and is open to the public. Admittance is limited to the room capacity at all times.

How much does it cost to attend Interweave Knitting Lab?
Registration opens for the Knitter’s Weekend Package at the Early Bird price of $695 on January 22, 2014. This Package price allows you to sign up for as many Classes*, lectures and special events as you would like over the four day period, as well as full access to the Knitters’ Market. After February 21, 2014, the regular rate for the Knitter’s Weekend Package is $795.

The cost for Individual Class* registration is $99.00 for a half-day, $194.00 for a full-day Class*, or $50.00 for the evening events. Registration for Individual Classes opens on January 22, 2014

*Materials fees vary by Class (some Classes do not have a materials fee) and are in addition to the Knitter's Weekend Package registration fee or the Individual Class registration fee. Materials fees are collected onsite in class and are due directly to the instructor.

Where is Interweave Knitting Lab taking place?
Interweave Knitting Lab is taking place May 15-18, 2014 in Manchester, NH.  The headquarter hotel, Radisson Hotel Manchester Downtown is located in downtown Manchester, just one hour north of Boston Airport.  A complimentary shuttle is available to/from the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport for hotel guests.  Visit our TRAVEL page for complete details.

Who runs Interweave Knitting Lab? 
Interweave Knitting Lab is brought to you by F+W Media, Inc. How do I register?
You can register online beginning January 22, 2014. When you register online it is a secure registration and payment process. Classes sell quickly so this will provide you fast and easy access to your favorites before they are sold out. 

Your registration confirmation will be sent to you via email. You will also receive Knitting Lab updates on Classes, instructors, special events, hotel & travel information and more. (Note: Registration confirmation and email updates are sent to the email address used to register.) 

Note: An email address is required for every registrant. If you do not currently have an email address, you can create one for free—try hotmail.com, gmail.com or yahoo.com.

Your badge and class schedule will not be mailed in advance of the show. They will be waiting for you at Onsite Registration when you arrive at the Radisson Hotel Manchester Downtown.

What forms of payment do you accept online?
VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. 

Are there any other ways to register? 
We strongly recommend that you register online because classes will sell quickly. If you do not have a credit card or are not able to register online, please contact the Knitting Lab staff at 970-776-1469 or KnittingLab@interweave.com. You can visit the Onsite Registration desk at the Radisson Hotel Manchester Downtown beginning Tuesday, May 13 at 7:00am. We accept onsite payment via credit card, or cash. Onsite registration is based on Class availability and we strongly suggest you check the website prior to the event to see if space is available.

What is the cancellation policy? 
Full Package Cancellation
You may exchange your Workshop selections until March 31, 2014. If you wish to cancel your Full Package Registration, you will be refunded your package price less a $150 cancellation fee. No full package cancellations will be made after March 31, 2014.

Pay-Per-Class Cancellation (includes 2-day Intensive Only option and evening activities)
You may exchange your Individual Classes Selection until March 31, 2014. If you wish to cancel classes, you have until March 31, 2014. A cancellation fee of $25 per 3-hour class, $50 per 6-hour class, and $75 per 2-day intensive class will be deducted from your refund amount. After March 31, 2014, there are no additional cancellations or changes allowed and no refunds will be provided. There are no exceptions.

If a Class is SOLD OUT, can I be put on a waitlist? 
Waitlists are not available for SOLD OUT Classes. Knitter's Weekend Package Registrants can make changes to their schedule through March 31, 2014, so we encourage you to check the website Registration Page often to see if a seat becomes available.

In order for our instructors to prepare for Classes adequately, Class switching will not be allowed after March 31, 2014. We supply the instructors with their minimum Class numbers (30) days prior to the Knitting Lab taking place. We appreciate your understanding that this policy ensures a fair amount of prep time and reimbursement for our instructors, as well as enough materials present for each Class member expected.

Can I register for a friend? 
We prefer each individual participant handles his/her own registration, but you can register additional attendees. Each additional attendee does require a unique email address.

Can children attend the retreat? 
You must be 16 years of age to register for a Class. By registering for a Class you agree that you are capable of maintaining the pace of the Class, or are willing to work at your pace within the schedule of the Class. 

Will I receive a confirmation email? 
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email after registering for a Class. If you did not receive your confirmation, please check your Junk Email folder. You can add the Knitting Lab email to your address book to make sure you receive our emails: KnittingLab@interweave.com. If you still do not have your confirmation, please contact us directly for a copy.

What are Materials Fees and how do I pay for these fees? 
Some instructors provide class materials for each students-these are called Materials Fees.  Materials fees are in addition to the Class registration fees. The materials fees vary from Class to Class, and some Classes do not have materials fees. You will pay your Class materials fees onsite directly to the instructor when you take the class. 

What supplies do I need for my Classes? 
Each Class has a "Students Should Bring" list. The items listed will be general supplies, most of which you probably already have. Some Classes also have a materials fee, which covers materials purchased by the instructors in addition to those you'll be bringing from the "Students Should Bring" list. Often the Instructor will bring additional materials to share.

Do I need to do anything else to prepare for my Classes?
Some Classes may have a small project or task you need to complete in preparation for the Class. Please see the Class Descriptions to determine if Prep-work is necessary for your Class.

How do I get an Interweave Knitting Lab Tote Bag? 
If you register for the Knitter's Weekend Package you will receive a FREE Interweave Knitting Lab Tote Bag. You will receive your Tote when you register onsite at the Radisson Hotel Manchester Downtown.  If you registered via our Individual Class registration option, or if you would like to purchase an additional Tote Bag, they will be available for purchase during online registration and at the onsite registration desk, based on availability.

How do I become a Knitters’ Market vendor?

How do I reserve a hotel room for Interweave Knitting Lab? 
Interweave has reserved a block of rooms at the Radisson Hotel Manchester Downtown at a special discounted rate of $139 + tax (single occupancy). This discounted Group rate is available until April 20, 2014—or until the room block is sold out. Please visit the TRAVEL tab for complete details.
