For more than 25 years, Lou Bertin has been part of the technology community as both a journalist and corporate advisor.  He is owner and founder of Bertin & Co. Inc., where he provides event moderation, web casting and pod casting services regularly for CIO magazine, and clients that include such companies as Microsoft, IBM, Intel, CA, Novell, SAP, Accenture, Symantec and many others.  He is also a frequent speaker at company-sponsored private events and at industry gatherings.  Through Bertin & Co., Mr. Bertin also provides writing services, performs market analyses and has conducted media-training sessions for industry executives.  Earlier, Mr. Bertin spent three years as managing editor/industry at InformationWeek, where he was the publication's primary face-to-face liaison with its readers worldwide.  Prior, Mr. Bertin was a senior vice president at Fleishman-Hillard in Washington, D.C., where he led government relations and industry relations efforts on behalf of a variety of technology companies and consortia.  At the start of his career, he spent 10 years at CMP Media where he served in a number of editorial positions, most notably as a founding editor at Computer Reseller News.
