Josep Tejedo
Managing Director of Mercabarna, the wholesale market in Barcelona since 2012.

Josep Tejedo holds degree in law and a diploma in management development from the IESE Businesss School.He has held executive positions in different financial, property and consulting firms throughout his career. He was also counselor of Ibercaja Bank and a patron of the Fundació Catalana de la Cooperació (Catalan Cooperation Foundation), an organization devoted to the world of farming cooperatives.

He has been the Mercabarna managing director since March 2012 and he participates in the most important organizations in the Catalan agri-food sector, where he holds the following positions:
- Board member, Barcelona Regional
- Board member, Barcelona Centre Logístic and Chair of its Food Committee
- Member, Alimentaria trade fair organizing committee
- Member of Restaurama executive committee
- Member, Catalan Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Food and Natural Environment standing committee
- Member, Catalan Ministry of Agriculture good sale practices committee
- Member, CREDA Research Centre for Agri-Food Economy and Development management board
- Board of Directors Member, World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM)
- Member, Pedagogical Coordination Council (Barcelona City Council)
- Member of the Business Council of the UPC

Internationally, it should be noted the important work he has performed in positioning Mercabarna as one of the world leading wholesale markets and developing the Mediterranean-Barcelona Food Hub®.
Together with his team, he has advised governments and institutions from five continents on the development and management of food markets and units.

Ioannis Triantafyllis
General Manager of the Central Markets and the Fisheries Organisation SA

The Central Market and the Fisheries Organisation
includes the two largest Central Wholesale Markets of Greece, managing 11 wholesale fish markets
throughout the country.
Mr Triantafyllis is a formal Board member of the World Union Wholesale Markets and a counsellor on several wholesale management and adaptation committees.

Fabio Massimo Pallottini
Managing Director of CAR

Born in Rome on August 28th 1959. Graduated with a degree in Law with a specialization in Economics at the La Sapienza University in Rome.
Economist, expert in issues concerning economic and territorial development.
From 2014 performs the role of Managing Director responsible for the structure management, ensuring the economic and production results of CAR ScpA, company that owns and manages the Agribusiness Center in Rome, having coordinated the activities from 1994.

Jean-Paul Auguste 
President, Groupe Geraud, France

Chairman of the WUWM Retail Section since 2008, Mr Auguste is the President of Group Géraud SA, a company established in 1880 that conceives, develops, funds and manages various public facilities such as retail markets, livestock markets, wholesale markets, parking areas, etc. in partnership with local or regional public authorities.

Nowadays, the Group achieves more than 50% of its activity outside the French territory, mainly in the United Kingdom. In both countries, the Group leads retail market management. Working with more than 400 local governments, the Group has concluded major partnership agreements with the municipalities of Bordeaux, Paris and Liverpool.
The company is still controlled by the founding family with Mr Auguste, belonging to the 4th generation, having taken over leadership of the company in 1981.
