Steve Gilrein is currently the Deputy Director of EPA’s Enforcement and Compliance Assurance Division. Steve has worked for EPA for over 37 years during which time he has worked with most of EPA’s programs.  Steve received his B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1980 from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts and his M.S. in Civil Engineering in 1984 from the University of Texas in Arlington, Texas.  Steve is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.

 
Paul Pettit

Paul Pettit is an executive with over 25 years of progressive roles within industry and professional services where he has managed and delivered successful audit and consulting projects to clients across a multitude of industries.  At Revenew, Paul leads the Performance Improvement practice and oversees business development and account management for clients seeking audit and consulting services within environmental, health and safety functional areas.

 

Paul holds Master degrees in Environmental Management and Business Administration as well as a Bachelor degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Houston.  He is certified as a Professional EH&S Auditor (CPEA), Internal Auditor (CIA) and Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).  Paul is an accomplished speaker and has been designated the highest professional speaking designation by Toastmasters International, Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).

 

Paul currently serves on the IIA’s EH&S Certification Advisory Committee and has been a member of the IIA since 2000.  He has spoken at many chapter IIA luncheons and seminars/roundtables around the country as well as national IIA conferences. He has also written articles and white papers on internal audit topics such as auditing environmental, health and safety functions.  Paul most recently served as an IIA District Advisor representing over two dozen chapters across ten states in the South Region.

As the HSE Senior Advisor for Audits at ConocoPhillips, Gary Roseen serves as a Lead Auditor and is responsible for developing and leading audit process improvements, the HSE Audit Annual Review, and the Corrective Action and Recommendation Response Plan Practice. He also manages the organization’s HSE audit data and auditor certifications.  Mr. Roseen has more than 30 years’ experience in HSE auditing, quality assurance and nondestructive testing in the defense and aerospace industries, and most recently in oil and gas. A graduate of Columbia Southern University, Mr. Roseen holds several certifications including BEAC’s Certified Process Safety Auditor.

Tim Wilkins and Bracewell LLP have been tireless supporters of EHSAC, the former Auditing Roundtable, and the EHS auditing function overall. 0Tammy Wyche
Director, Environmental, Health & Safety Audit Center

Tammy Wyche is director of The IIA’s Environmental, Health & Safety Audit Center (EHSAC). Ms. Wyche joined The IIA in November 2015 to establish the EHSAC, the newest of the IIA’s Specialty Centers and also manage the merger with the Auditing Roundtable. Her extensive industry knowledge and international experience includes work in hazardous waste management, employee training programs, and auditing regulatory compliance for companies in asphalt coatings, food processing, medical research, paper making and photo imaging. For 20 years at Konica Minolta Photo Imaging, USA, she served as environmental manager for the company where she developed programs to manage regulatory issues from North and Central America, the Caribbean, the European Union and Japan. Her broad regulatory experience also includes expertise in EPA, OSHA and DOT rules, as well as, state and local regulations. Most recently, she is leading the Sustainability initiatives at the IIA.

She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in environmental and public health and has extensive education in environmental and safety law.
