The NASA STEM Educator Professional Development Collaborative at Texas State University is providing a 1-hour webinar.

Explore our solar system and beyond with NASA missions. Also, investigate NASA STEAM lessons that include classification, graphing and models to better understand and visualize our sun, planets, asteroids and other celestial objects of our solar system in this out-of-this-world webinar.

 

Steve Culivan is a retired NASA STEM Education Professional Development Specialist. During his thirty-one year career with NASA Education, he was assigned to the Kennedy Space Center, Marshall Space Flight Center and the Stennis Space Center. Mr. Culivan developed and provided NASA STEM online and face-to-face professional development programs for in-service, pre-service, informal and university educators. Mr. Culivan was the Principal Investigator for two International Space Station (ISS) in-flight education demonstrations. He additionally developed and co-developed several NASA STEM lessons and lesson guides. Prior to his NASA career, Mr. Culivan taught middle school Earth and space science, life science, English, art and coached several sports. He holds a current Louisiana teaching certificate in science and English. Mr. Culivan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Louisiana Tech University and a Masters of Science degree in Education from Oklahoma State University.
