A native of Hawaii, Bryan was deemed “Hawaii’s Hero” by local media and is still considered one of the state’s most recognizable athletes. Prior to his Olympic win, he founded The Bryan Clay Foundation in 2005 aimed at empowering today’s youth to take advantage of opportunities available to them and reach their full potential. Bryan also wrote “Redemption,” the story of his unlikely path to Olympic Gold that began with a fist-fighting, drug abusive, pre-suicidal kid with no faith.

Doug Balzarini
As owner of DB Strength in San Diego, Doug Balzarini, CSCS, MMA-CC, provides fitness training, education and resources to clients one-on-one and through distance learning. He also serves as a strength-and-conditioning coach for Alliance MMA, where he works with athletes including UFC Champion Dominick Cruz, Phil Davis, Brandon Vera, Travis Browne and Alexander Gustafsson. Prior to starting his own business, Doug worked as a Fitness Quest 10 personal trainer and strength coach, and as operations director for Todd Durkin Enterprises (TDE). Wendy Bazilian DrPH, MA, RD
Wendy is a writer, researcher, educator, food enthusiast and award-winning journalist. Dr. Bazilian brings extensive experience in nutrition science and counseling to her work. She is a registered dietitian and American College of Sports Medicine-certified Health and Fitness Specialist. Dr. Bazilian is the Nutrition Advisor at Golden Door fitness resort and spa since 2003 and co-owner of Bazilian’s Health Clinic in San Diego. Lawrence Biscontini, MA, is an award-winning group fitness instructor who has been recognized worldwide for his innovative programming at clubs and spas including Equinox, 24 Hour Fitness, Gold's Gym International, Bally and Golden Door Spa of Puerto Rico. He was the first Mindful Movement Specialist to win multiple awards from ACE, IDEA & Inner IDEA, Can Fit Pro, and ECA, and currently serves as a senior fitness consultant for both ACE and Power Music®. As a nutritional counselor, Lawrence has created nutritional menus for spas from Manhattan to Mykonos, and has appeared on both CNN Headline News and LIVE! With Regis and Kelly. Cedric X. Bryant Ph. D.
As chief science officer for ACE, Cedric X. Bryant, Ph.D., FACSM, represents the organization as a national and international lecturer, writer and expert source. He has written more than 250 articles or columns in fitness trade magazines, and sports medicine and exercise science journals, and has authored, co-authored or edited 30 books. He can often be found as an authoritative resource for fitness and nutrition in a variety of national media including USA Today, Washington Post, The New York Times, Parade, Wall Street Journal, Time, Newsweek, Reader’s Digest, Consumer Reports, Fox News, CNN Headline News. Bryant has held several positions on exercise science faculties at the United States Military Academy at West Point and Pennsylvania State University, where he earned both his doctorate in physiology and master’s degree in exercise science. In October 2006, he was awarded the Penn State Alumni Fellow Award, given to alumni considered leaders in their professional fields.
 

 
Anthony Carey MA, CSCS, ACE-AHFP
Named the 2009 Personal Trainer of the Year by PFP Magazine, Anthony Carey, MA, CSCS, ACE-AHFP, owns Function First in San Diego, Calif., which was voted the city’s Best Personal Trainer/Studio in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He has written two best-selling books, The Pain-Free Program: A Proven Method to Relieve Back, Neck, Shoulder and Joint Pain and Relationships and Referrals: A Personal Trainer’s Guide to Doing Business with the Medical Community. Clients including professional athletes, entertainers, business leaders, physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists and acupuncturists from 15 countries and 32 U.S. states have sought training from Anthony. Aside from receiving national attention in media including The New York Times, Time and O Magazine, he also invented the Core-Tex™, a revolutionary reaction tool currently being used by multiple professional sports teams, health clubs and major universities worldwide. Amanda Carlson

Amanda is the Vice President of Nutrition and Research for Athletes' Performance (AP) and Core Performance (CP). A registered dietitian with a masters in both sports nutrition and exercise physiology, Amanda works directly with the AP/CP team of registered dietitians to develop and implement performance nutrition strategies for both athletes and the general population. These strategies are designed to help all types of people use nutrition in the quest to achieve their training, performance, and health related goals. Amanda also coordinates research efforts to help Athletes' Performance stay on the cutting-edge of sports science.

Ellen Coleman
Ellen is a Registered Dietitian who also has a Master's degree in exercise physiology. She has many years of experience as a sports dietitian and has written several books in this area. Past chair of the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition dietetic practice group of the American Dietetic Association (SCAN) and is a board certified specialist in sports dietetics (CSSD).
 
 
 

 
Steve Cotter
With an extensive and diverse background as a champion athlete and cutting-edge trainer, Steve Cotter has developed some of the most complete and exciting strength and conditioning programs. He has become a proponent of incorporating kettlebells, martial arts, qigong, strength and conditioning, athletics and human performance. Throughout his career, Steve has served as a consultant to several professional sports teams including the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers, and the MLB’s Texas Rangers, Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Dodgers. He serves as a subject-matter expert for the U.S. Navy Seals in Virginia Beach, a strength-and-conditioning trainer for U.S. Marines at Quantico, Va.; and he created the Encyclopedia of Kettlebell Lifting and Full KOntact Kettlebells System best-selling DVD series. Michael Cummings
Michael Cummings is currently a Performance Specialist at SKLZ. He is CSCS certified and teaches Kinesiology at SDSU, where he received his degree in Pre-Physical Therapy. He is also a certified Olympic training coach and a published author who currently writes for numerous websites and publications.

 
Michol Dalcourt
An internationally recognized expert in human movement and performance, Michol Dalcourt is the founder and director of Institute of Motion (InstituteofMotion.com); inventor of the fitness tool ViPR (ViPRfit.com), and co-founder of PTA Global (PTAGlobal.com). He has written numerous articles on human design and function, developed a series of performance videos, and created the RMA athletic model for high-performance training. Michol is an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco, and an instructor at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton, Alberta. As a trainer, he has worked with general clientele and athletes at all levels including college pitchers, NHL athletes, National Lacrosse League athletes, and Olympic gold medalists. He received his exercise science education from the University of Alberta, and holds a variety of certifications including CFC accreditation from the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology, and Personal Trainer Specialist from the Canadian Association of Fitness Professionals. He lives with his wife, daughter and Labrador in Solana Beach, Calif.
 

 
Dr. Natalie Digate Muth, MD, MPH, RD
Natalie Digate Muth, MD, MPH, RD, is a community pediatrician, ACE senior health strategist and a registered dietitian widely recognized for her expertise in childhood obesity, nutrition and fitness. Aside from writing articles and book chapters for more than 50 publications, Natalie has also received praise for her book “Eat Your Vegetables! and Other Mistakes Parents Make: Redefining How to Raise Healthy Eaters” released in 2012. She has been featured as an expert on San Diego Living and ABC World News Now, and in several publications including The New York Times. Natalie holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and physiological sciences from UCLA, a Master of Public Health in nutrition from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She also holds multiple fitness certifications from ACE, ACSM and NSCA.


 
Jeremiah Evans
US National Trainer & Business Development Consultant, Jeremiah's athleticism, competitive attitude and persistent work ethic have steered him in his fitness journey. Shannon Fable
Named an IDEA Instructor of the Year Finalist in 2009 and 2012, and 2006 ACE Instructor of the Year, Shannon Fable is the founder and CEO of Sunshine Fitness Resources, a consulting firm for aspiring educators, manufacturers and managers. She also owns Balletone, a ballet-inspired fitness programming company, and GroupEx PRO, a communication portal for group fitness programs. As a 15-year industry veteran, Shannon consults professionals on a wide variety of subjects including career development. She also serves as an international presenter, program developer and Master Trainer for the Nautilus Institute, Schwinn, ACE, BOSU and Power Systems. Shannon works with Anytime Fitness on exercise programming needs and is a Book Yourself Solid® Coach. Chris Freytag
A nationally recognized health and wellness expert, Chris Freytag is an accomplished blogger, author and motivational speaker. Aside from holding ACE Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and Health Coach Certifications, she has been training and teaching classes for more than 20 years. Chris is the author of Two Week Total Body Turnaround, Move to Lose, Shortcuts to Big Weight Loss and Choose This!, a cookbook of healthy recipes made with whole food. With a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Chris has written numerous articles on health and fitness and serves as a contributing editor for Prevention magazine. She has produced dozens of fitness DVDs including the popular 10lb Slimdown Xtreme available on QVC, and she serves as the ACE chairman of the board of directors. Todd Galati MA
As ACE director of credentialing, Todd Galati, MA, is responsible for overseeing development, administration and maintenance of the organization’s certification programs, and serving as a liaison with third-party testing companies. Prior to joining ACE, he served as an adjunct professor of kinesiology and biomechanics at California State University, San Marcos. He also spent 14 years at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine designing and implementing youth fitness and health education programs, and researching their effectiveness in reducing cardiovascular disease, obesity and type 2 diabetes. Todd has been featured in numerous national media including Washington Post, The National Post, BusinessWeek, Fitness magazine, Fitness Management and Active.com. He also writes on a variety of fitness-related topics for textbooks, and has written research reports published in Pediatric Exercise Science, Preventive Medicine, Medicine and Science in Sport and Exercise, and Health Education and Behavior. Todd holds a master’s degree in kinesiology, a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and all four ACE certifications.
 

 
Rob Glick
Rob Glick is a master trainer for Schwinn Cycling and BOSU, and is co-creator of the 5-Star Instructor Development Program for fitness professionals. A highly respected presenter, who frequents annual conferences for IDEA, ECA, EMPOWER! Wanderlust, Mid-West Yoga conference and more, Rob was named 2006 International Presenter of the Year by CanFitPro and the 2005 Best Male Presenter by ECA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in movement and exercise science from Chapman University and continues to bring cutting-edge education, programming and choreography to the fitness industry as a member of the creative team for Total Gym's GRAVITY System. Rob teaches weekly classes at the Irvine, Renaissance ClubSport, Yoga Works and Core Power Yoga. He is also a continuing education provider for ACE and AFAA.
 

 
Dr. Jinger Gottschall
My primary research objective is to complete studies with a focus on physical fitness in adults for the preservation of independence and prevention of disease. The goal of these projects is to evaluate which exercise routines are optimal in terms of health benefits as well as participant retention.
My secondary research objective is to perform mechanistic research regarding how humans effortlessly transition between complex scenarios in the natural environment in order to promote functional mobility. It is critical that data are obtained to help characterize the strategies that mediate gait transitions for populations that have difficulty walking on a daily basis.

Hayley Hollander
Hayley Hollander is a personal trainer, educator, author, and co-founder of Advanced Training Performance in Las Vegas, NV.  With more than 12 years in the fitness industry, she is constantly evolving as a professional in order to follow her passion of education. Hayley specializes in functional movement enhancement for all levels, sports conditioning, pre- and post-natal, weight loss, and endurance training. Her training style focuses on meeting clients where they need to be met, and giving them the foundation to keep new, healthy habits strong throughout their life. As a Master Trainer for TRX, Hayley travels and teaches five of the company’s six certifications. Craig Horswill
 Craig is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) where he teaches and oversees research by students. Craig joined the UIC faculty in 2011 after working for 16 years in industry as a scientist and manager with The Gatorade Company (Gatorade Sports Science Institute). Craig also spent eight years conducting research in pediatrics at Columbus Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University (1988-1994), and teaching and conducting research in the Human Performance Lab at Ball State University (1986-88). Craig earned a PhD in exercise physiology from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in 1986. He did his undergrad in natural sciences/chemistry and an MS in exercise physiology at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Craig’s general research interests include examining the effects of hydration status, nutrition, and dietary supplements on high-intensity intermittent exercise performance; pediatric exercise physiology; and methodologies for assessing body composition.
 
 

 
Mark P. Kelly Ph.D., CSCS
As an ACE exercise physiologist, Mark P. Kelly, Ph.D., CSCS, produces workshops, presentations and articles aimed at teaching fitness professionals how to bridge the gap between science and application. With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, he has been involved in exercise science as author, presenter, trainer and athlete. He has been teaching sciences in universities, performing research, and physiological assessments in exercise science for more than 20 years. Aside from being a nationally ranked duathlete, Mark has written several research studies published by ACSM, NSCA and FASEB. He holds a doctorate from the University of New Orleans.

Called 'the World's best barefoot running coach' by Chris McDougall, author Born to run and 'Exceptional' by Harvard Professor Daniel Lieberman, Lee Saxby is at the forefront of applied barefoot science. Lee has been coaching movement for 20 years and has spent the last 10 years coaching barefoot technique to help runners overcome injury and increase performance. Ben Le Vesconte is Lee Saxby’s protégé. Ben has been learning intensely from Lee since 2009. Having undertaken a 3 year apprenticeship Ben has now coached hundreds of personal trainers, medical professionals and runners of all ages, transitioning them safely to injury free, skillful barefoot technique. Ben co-developed the Barefoot Movement Science Online Module and delivers 1 Day Running Technique Instructor courses and learn the skill of barefoot running days in the UK, Europe and USA.
 
Michael Mantell Ph. D.
Michael R. Mantell, Ph.D., earned his doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania after completing his master’s degree in clinical psychology at Hahnemnann Medical College, where he wrote his thesis on the psychological aspects of obesity. He coaches world-class athletes and fitness enthusiasts for mental and behavioral performance enhancement. Michael serves as an ACE senior fitness consultant for behavioral sciences, chief behavioral scientist for Anytime Fitness, and as a member of the faculty at Equinox Fitness Training Institute. He also works as a national community ambassador for Experience Life Magazine's health initiative and appears weekly on San Diego's CW channel 6. Aside from writing two best-selling books, Michael is a consultant to Total Gym and Les Mills International and a contributing author for IHRSA. He is a member of the Sports Medicine Team at the Sporting Club of San Diego, specializing in fitness behavioral science. Michael provides opinion, commentary and analysis in print and broadcast media throughout the world.
 

 
Steven Mashal

As legal counsel for ACE, Steven Mashal is responsible for managing commercial contracts, trademarks, content licensing and all other legal issues concerning the company. Since earning his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1984, he has worked as a sole practitioner, Assistant Vice President for Security Pacific Bank, Corporate Counsel for Ashton-Tate Corporation and Senior Corporate Counsel for Infonet Services Corp. A board member for the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, Steven has advised a number of personal trainers and club owners on various legal issues throughout his career. Aside from his J.D., he holds a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkley.


 
Jessica Matthews MS, E-RYT
Jessica Matthews, MS, E-RYT, wears many hats in the fitness industry, most notably with her work as an ACE exercise physiologist, a noted media spokesperson and fitness blogger. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Miramar College, where she teaches courses within the Department of Exercise Science, Health and Nutrition. Aside from holding both ACE Personal Trainer and ACE Group Fitness Instructor certifications, Jessica is also an experienced registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. Jessica has been featured as a fitness expert on CNN and by various publications including Shape Magazine, Self and Oxygen. She holds a bachelor’s degree in PE teacher education from Coastal Carolina University and a master’s degree in physical education from Canisius College.


 
Josef Matthews
Josef is a master trainer for the LES MILLS GRIT™ Series, BODYPUMP®, CWORX™, BODYCOMBAT® and BODYFLOW®. He embodies both the charisma and infectious energy which are at the heart of the Les Mills experience, and the business savvy that makes Les Mills’ programs successful in our facilities around the world. Originally a part of the Swedish National Team, Josef trained and presented internationally before establishing his mark in the United States. Josef has been a part of the Les Mills tribe for the past ten years.
 

 
Pete McCall MS, CSCS
As an ACE exercise physiologist, Pete McCall, MS, CSCS, creates and delivers fitness education programs to uphold the organization’s mission of enriching quality of life through safe and effective exercise and physical activity. He is one of the creators of the ACE Integrated Fitness Training® (IFT®) model of exercise program design. He holds a master’s degree in exercise science and health promotion from California University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he holds an ACE Personal Trainer Certification and additional certifications and advanced specializations through NSCA (CSCS), and NASM (CPT, IFS, and PES). Outside of his work responsibilities Pete serves on the content review committee for ptonthenet.com and coaches youth rugby for the San Diego Mustangs.
 

 
Parker J. McCarthy
Parker J. McCarthy received his Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education/Promotion from Southern Illinois University. He has been working for Healthways for the past 5 and a half years in corporate health and wellness. Today, Parker works for the SilverSneakers FLEX fitness program which is designed to help engage seniors in exercise outside of a traditional gym setting.

 
Dan McDonogh
Dan McDonogh is one of the most globally recognized personalities in the fitness industry today. His passion for health and fitness spans 15 years and his programs, workshops and lectures have influenced thousands across the globe. Dan is the senior manager of Group Training & Development at TRX based in San Francisco, Calif. Most recently, he was awarded the IDEA Group Fitness Instructor of the Year for 2012. He is also a Livestrong Leader for California, where he supports and provides outreach for the Livestrong Foundation.

He has successfully established himself as an international fitness expert and has presented and consulted for some of the most successful fitness organizations in the world including ACE, Functional Movement Systems, TRX, Reebok, EA Sports Active and numerous others. Graham Melstrand
As ACE vice president of corporate affairs, Graham Melstrand develops relationships and opportunities that advance industry standards among fitness professionals and ACE policy positions. He currently serves on the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), where he sits on the Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences (COAES) and the Joint Committee on Health Fitness Facility Standards for NSF International. With more than 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, Graham’s diverse background includes roles at ACE, Reebok/CCS Fitness and as an athletic trainer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education/athletic training from California State University, Long Beach, and competed as a nationally ranked cyclist between 1981 and 1991.

Brian Nunez is the owner and creator of the FNS Training Center in Santa Clara, CA which is based on his philosophy, Fitness Never Sleeps. He has created a unique training center which combines the customization of one on one training harnessed with group energy and support. With his wonderful team, they focus on training the whole athlete and person. From Yoga, chiropractic care, goal coaching, vision training, nutritional counseling, and performance training, the FNS training center has become the most quickly growing facility in the the Bay area, training everyone from professionals to the everyday athletes. With over 10 years of experience, he has held tens of thousands of personal and group training sessions resulting in successful stories. Brian prides himself in his wide range of cliental, consisting of professional athletes to everyday athletes striving to improve their individual fitness level. Through his positive, yet challenging methods, his clients gain the confidence needed to reach their goals. Brian prides himself not just on coaching athletes but being one as well. He has ran in 20+ half marathons, two marathons which include Boston and Big Sur completing the Boston to Big Sur challenge, an Ironman, and taking first place in the IDEA “I Will” Challenge which was a national challenge. Brian played Football at San Jose State University as a free safety and was team captain his senior year. Brian earned his BS degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University. He is certified through NASM as a trainer and performance enhancement specialist. Additionally he is certified through TRX, and a Holistic Lifestyle Coach through the CHEK institute. As a master trainer for Ignite Performance training, he is also a a major presenter for Ignite certifications. He and his wife Parisa reside in San Jose, CA.

 
Ingrid Owen
As Vice President for Fitness, INGRID OWEN oversees personal training, Group X and youth fitness for 24 Hour Fitness, which operates over 400 health clubs in the United States. During her successful 16-year tenure, she has served in a variety of corporate and field level positions. Owen possesses a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Penn State University, and an exercise and physiology degree from Temple University. She is also a US National Trainer and DVD presenter for Les Mills BODYPUMP® as well as a BODYCOMBAT® & CXWORX™ instructor.
 

 
Derrick Price MS, CPT, PES, CES
Aside from training at award-winning Function First in San Diego, Calif., Derrick Price MS, CPT, PES, CES, also serves as a master trainer for ViPR, PowerPlate, Core-Tex, Technogym, Hyperwear and the Institute of Motion. With specialties in three-dimensional movement, corrective exercise and athletic performance enhancement, Derrick has served as both a master instructor for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and as an adjunct professor at the California University of Pennsylvania. Now a faculty member for PTA Global, Derrick holds a master’s degree in exercise science and health promotion with an emphasis on injury prevention and performance enhancement from California University of Pennsylvania. He currently resides with his wife Laura in San Diego, where they enjoy many outdoor activities including hiking, trail-running, disc golf and a variety of other sports.
 

 
Justin Price MA
Justin Price is a biomechanics specialist and expert in corrective exercise techniques with more than 20 years of experience helping people overcome chronic aches and pains. He teaches to health and fitness professionals around the world through the educational program he created called The BioMechanics Method®. As a result, his methods are used by hundreds of thousands of people in more than 25 countries. He has consulted to Time Magazine, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, MSNBC, WebMD, FoxNews, Discovery Health, Prevention Magazine, British Broadcasting Association, Men’s Health, Women’s Health and Fitness, Tennis Magazine and Arthritis Today. Justin also works one-on-one with clients in San Diego, Calif., where he helps professional athletes, celebrities, Navy SEALs, business leaders, people with musculoskeletal injuries and neuromuscular disorders. He serves as an ACE senior fitness expert, an education provider for PTontheNet, PTA Global, TRX, BOSU and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
 

 
Steven Renata
Steven was born in Kawakawa, New Zealand. After beginning his career in tourism he entered the fitness industry, which would become his calling. He has been a partner in Les Mills International Ltd since 1995, holding a variety of senior international roles including Training, Sales, Board Member and now CEO of Les Mills West Coast. “I am really excited to take on this role, and feel very fortunate to be championing group exercise in the United States at a time when group exercise and small group training is at the tipping point of a huge expansion,” said Renata.
 

 
Keli Roberts
Keli Roberts has won several awards during her time in the fitness industry, including the 2003 IDEA International Fitness Instructor of the Year, 2003 OBOW ECA award for Best Use of Equipment, 2005 Best Female Presenter and the 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2007, she was also inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame. As an ACE Master Trainer and continuing education provider, Keli is known for her acclaimed workshops worldwide. Her award-winning DVDs demonstrate her exceptional teaching skills. Keli’s credentials include an ACSM-HFS, as well as certifications through AFAA, ACE and Level 1 Precision Nutrition. Additionally Keli is a BOSU Developmental Team Member, a Schwinn® Master Trainer and a Gatorade-sponsored athlete.

Jonathan Ross is the two-time recipient of Personal Trainer of the Year awards (2010 IDEA & 2006 ACE), has served as Discovery Health Fitness Expert. He hosts the Discovery Health series “Everyday Fitness,” and is an accomplished author of Abs Revealed, a modern, intelligent approach to training the abdominals. Owner of Aion Fitness, Jonathan uses his business to deliver exceptional fitness training, speaking and writing services. A master trainer for TRX, he has shared his renowned thought-leadership philosophy at many conferences and in the media. A former astronomer, Jonathan used to study stellar bodies – now he builds them!

Jenn Seifert
Jenn is responsible for the delivery of services to Les Mills West Coast GRIT customer facilities and instructors. She started with Les Mills Midwest in 2008 as a club coach. In her time at Les Mills, Jenn has helped facilities establish the Les Mills group fitness formulas to retain and obtain members successfully. Jenn also teaches BODYPUMP®, BODYFLOW®, RPM®, and BODYVIVE® at her local YMCA association. Jenn shifted her speciality to personal training and group fitness by becoming a national trainer for the YMCA utilizing her speech and communications degree.
 

 
Anthony J. Wall
As ACE director of professional education, Anthony J. Wall oversees the development, quality assurance and strategic focus of the organization’s continuing education programs. With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, he has created internationally-recognized training programs and high-caliber educational materials for several academic and government organizations. Prior to joining ACE, Anthony was the national personal training manager for Les Mills in New Zealand. There, he created and directed education programs, and managed training practices and policies organization-wide. Anthony has also managed fitness club operations, and assisted in the promotion of sports and fitness events. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Demontfort University in Bedfordshire, England, and a master’s degree in exercise physiology from San Diego State University in California. An avid sprinter, Anthony lives in Poway, Calif., with his wife and two daughters.
 

 
Ken Weichert
Ken Weichert, also known as “SGT Ken,” is an international speaker, six-time U.S. Army Soldier of the Year, master fitness and resilience trainer, counterintelligence agent and highly decorated combat veteran. In addition to his work as founder of START Fitness®, a group exercise and hiking program that delivers military-style workouts to soldiers and civilians, Ken has trained more than 500,000 people. He has written over 100 articles for GX®, Backpacker®, Outside® and Health®, and he created the wellness section of the National Guard website. His personal mission to provide safe and effective fitness training that inspires people to turn stress into strength, has led to his recognition as the 2011 Best New Presenter of the Year by Canadian Fitness Professionals.


 
Keith Wheeler
 Keith is divisional director Global Performance Nutrition, Research, Development, & Scientific Affairs for Abbott Nutrition. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in life science from Otterbein College, Westerville, Ohio. He earned both a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biochemistry from The Ohio State University. Keith is a Fellow in the American College of Sports Medicine and a member of The American Society for Nutrition. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Alliance for Youth Sports. He is a frequent speaker on sports nutrition and clinical nutrition to health professionals. He has more than 25 publications to his credit in the areas of clinical nutrition and nutrition as it relates to athletic performance.
