Basic and Advanced Sexual Ethics Workshop for “Men Only”

For Men Only – Sexual Ethics Workshop fulfilling both Basic and Advanced Sexual Ethics requirements

is scheduled for Tuesday March 5, 2019 9 30-3:00 at Simpson House 2101 Belmont Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19131 [enter through the main building (Cornerstone Building) sign in at the front desk and take the elevator to the first floor to Constitution Hall. ] Cost is $35. Presenter Ryan McMillan

Ryan McMillian is a Marriage and Family Therapist that specializes in spirituality and psychology. He has held workshops through the Council For Relationships on couples communication, grief interventions for clergy and clinical considerations for therapy with men. A chaplain for 10 years that continues to work with existential concerns, Ryan facilities bereavement groups for spousal loss and parental loss. Ryan has become an in demand speaker using his storytelling and humor to touch the world.  

This 5-hour interactive workshop will incorporate case studies and best practices around boundary setting. With psychological insights and through a Christian lens, participants will identify external and internal markers that can lead to sexual harassment. With the rise of the MeToo movement, participants will learn how to respond and support sexual harassment victims and accusers in congregational settings.
