The 2019 Iffath Abbasi Hoskins, MD Junior Fellow Research Day Contests are an opportunity for District II Junior Fellows to showcase their research and quality improvement projects during this year's Annual District II Meeting, October 18-19, 2019, Grand Hyatt New York.

Call for Abstracts

Do you have research from a project you would like to share with nationally renowned physicians? The Iffath Abbasi Hoskins, MD Research Day Oral Presentations and Martin L. Stone, MD Research Poster Session contests are open to all ACOG District II Junior Fellows.

Contest prizes include a $1,000 travel stipend to the Iffath Abbasi Hoskins, MD Junior Fellow Oral Presentation winner used to help offset the cost of attending the ACOG 2020 Annual Clinical Meeting, April 24-27, 2020, Seattle, WA and a $1,000 cash prize to the winner of the Martin L. Stone, MD Poster Session contest.

Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Research Paper Award

Call for Papers

The Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Research Paper Award "Call for Papers," a national ACOG research paper contest, is currently underway. District II Junior Fellows are encouraged to submit a paper from basic science or clinical research for a chance to WIN $2,000 to cover hotel and travel expenses to attend the 2020 Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting, April 24-27, 2020, Seattle, WA.

Saad Khalil Memorial Junior Fellow Quality Improvement Challenge

Call for Projects

Back by popular demand is the Saad Khalil Memorial Junior Fellow Quality Improvement Challenge. This challenge is designed to recognize residents who have utilized quality improvement science to implement a QI project. The contest offers the winner a $500 cash prize and aims to celebrate the critical role Junior Fellows play in quality improvement and patient safety.

2019 ACOG District II Junior Fellow Professor of the Year

Call for Nominations

District II is currently seeking nominations for the 2019 ACOG District II Junior Fellow Professor of the Year. This prestigious teaching award is presented annually to an ACOG Fellow Professor during the Annual District II Meeting for outstanding contribution, support, and education of Junior Fellows. If you have a professor who you believe has had a positive impact on you and other residents, nominate him or her today!
