In today's increasingly diverse workplace and marketplace, organizations are realizing that diversity alone is not enough. In order to achieve and maintain a competitive advantage, inclusive leadership can be a differentiator.

This discussion explores key principles of inclusive leadership, as well as identifies every day, intentional actions that support an inclusive work environment.

Felicia Johnson
Founder and Managing Director
The Gatson Group

Felicia Johnson is the Founder and Managing Director of The Gatson Group, a full-service Diversity & Inclusion consulting firm, offering comprehensive inclusion-based solutions in specialty areas including Inclusive Leadership Education, Cultural Competency, Unconscious Bias, Recruiting/Retention, Talent/Succession, Community Engagement and Diversity Strategy Execution.

Most recently, Felicia served as the Global Manager for Global Diversity & Inclusion for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Akron, OH. In this role, she led the design and implementation of the global strategy for diversity and inclusion, supporting more than 60,000 employees across North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Prior to Goodyear, Felicia served as the Head of Diversity & Inclusion, for Nebraska based Cabela’s, Inc., where she served as a subject matter expert in the development, design and execution of diversity and inclusion-based initiatives serving over 19,000 employees in the US and Canada.

Felicia also co-led global diversity and inclusion efforts at Franklin, TN based Nissan North America, where she served as the Assistant Secretary for the Global Inclusion Council, as well as a Board Member for The Nissan Foundation Board of Directors. Felicia is also a Certified Speaker, Coach and Trainer with The John Maxwell Team, which is ranked as Inc. Magazine’s No. 1 leadership and management expert in the world.

Felicia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from Dallas Baptist University and an MBA in Marketing Management from The University of Dallas. She was recently honored as a 2017 Tower Award Recipient from The University of Dallas Gupta College of Business. This award recognizes alumni who are beacons within the university’s business alumni community, and who embody the mission of serving as competent and responsible managers who are also principled and moral leaders. She is recognized as a Certified Diversity Professional by The Society for Diversity/Institute for Diversity Certification where she has obtained the (CDP) Credential and serves as a Certified Instructor.
