Hans Læssøe worked at the LEGO Group for more than 35 years where he held senior leadership roles in supply chain strategy, strategic planning, product development and most recently strategic risk management. Hans spent the last ten years of his career at LEGO Group building the strategic risk function including:

• Establishing enterprise risk management and reporting
• Establishing project risk and opportunity planning
• Establishing the strategic scenario process

Hans, and through him, the LEGO Group has won multiple international awards for their risk management. Hans has served as member of the Strategic Risk Management Development Council under the American RIMS organisation and has been awarded a certificate of appreciation.

He is the author of multiple articles and sections of books on risk management, including the RIMS "Strategic Risk Management Implementation Guide".  Hans is also the author of “Prepare to Dare” a practitioners guide intelligent risk taking. Hans is an ISO 31000 Certified Professional and Approved Trainer and has spoken at risk management conferences around the world.
