Call for Abstracts

We are seeking abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the Twenty-Fourth International Symposium on Shiftwork and Working Time. The meeting theme is Innovations in Research and Practice Improving Shiftwork Health and Safety. Example topics within the conference scope include measuring fatigue and fatigue risk, scheduling systems and policies, training and education, sleep health, operator workload, driver distraction and drowsiness, cognitive and other performance deficits, intervention studies, pharmacological countermeasures, studies of circadian rhythms, epidemiology, etc. Abstracts must reflect acceptable scientific methodology and have scientific or practice-based merit. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed.

Abstracts may be submitted from January 7, 2019 - March 1, 2019 via this website.

The International Scientific Committee will review all submissions. In order to coordinate with Early Bird Registration for the meeting, abstract submissions received before February 1 will receive notification of acceptance by mid-February. Decisions on oral versus poster presentations will be made in March once all submitted abstracts have been reviewed.
