Event Description |
Experience the beauty and history of geological wonders in the Southwest United States
over fall break.Over three days, we will be making stops at Zion National Park, Antelope Canyon,
and Horseshoe Bend. Students will spend the first two days at Zion National Park, where you
can explore a variety of trails and sights. On the second day in Zion, we will meet up with a
park ranger to complete a service project within the park. The third day will be spent in
northern Arizona where you will be able to take a guided tour of Antelope Canyon and
learn about geology, botany, and the history and culture of the Navajo people. Before
heading home, we will make a quick stop at Horseshoe Bend,
overlooking the Colorado River through Glen Canyon.
