ACP-I conference 2019 (SM)

7th ACP-I conference 2019

It is our pleasure to inform you about the International Advance Care Planning (ACP-i) conference! This 7th ACP-i (formerly ACPEL) conference takes place at March 13-16, 2019, in Concert- and congress centre De Doelen in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The conference is aimed at sharing and discussing new research findings and innovative approaches in the area of advance care planning.

Advance care planning, definition
Advance care planning (ACP) is the process of discussing and documenting the wishes, preferences, and values a person has about his/her medical care for the future, when health may deteriorate. ACP encourages dialogue between a person, his/her family, and the health care team that can guide medical decision-making even when a person becomes incapable of consenting to or refusing healthcare.
