WIA Extras and Activities
The Woodworking in America Conference expands beyond the walls of the Pasadena Convention Center. Some activities require extra fees and can be purchased during registration for the full conference or Marketplace admission; you’ll find that noted below the description. First Annual Feast of the Ribald Society of Old Moxonians

Drawing on many lifetimes in the trade, the host of the PBS series "The Woodwright's Shop" shares ripping yarns of non-fatal insults and injuries guaranteed to amuse and entertain! Enjoy an evening touring one of the finest examples of Arts & Crafts construction in the world. Built by Charles and Henry Greene as a winter home of David and Mary Gamble of the Procter and Gamble company, this home features extensive exposed joinery, art glass designed by the Greene's with local glass artist Emil Lange and all the original furnishings, from classic works of Arts & Crafts furniture to art glass fixtures and more.Along with a buffet dinner on the terrace, the evening will include self-guided tours of the home, with Arts & Crafts furniture makers Jim Ipekjian and Anthony Fortner and Brian Miller on hand to answer your questions. The Gamble house is a National Historic landmark and once you’ve had a chance to see the opulent home and its grounds you’ll understand why.
