Interdisciplinary Training Workshop

Registration: $50, includes lunch. During this full-day workshop, participants will get an introduction to interdisciplinary team science, as well as learn a newly proposed method for conducting effective team science. Participants will learn basic principles of interdisciplinary science, practice communicating across disciplinary boundaries, and collaboratively construct conceptual diagrams to facilitate interdisciplinary research. The workshop is appropriate for faculty and graduate students who want to strengthen their skills for participating in future interdisciplinary research opportunities. Lunch will be included in your registration. Andi Hess is the Director of the Interdisciplinary Translation and Integration Sciences Initiative at Arizona State University, which aims to help research teams across the university bridge disciplinary gaps through a process of interdisciplinary translation.
