Rick Gleason

Rick Gleason has served as the lead instructor for the Pacific Northwest OSHA Education Center since its founding in 1995. Rick is also a lecturer in the University of Washington Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences. The beloved "safety celebrity" is known throughout the Northwest for his excellence in teaching health and safety topics.

Rick will provide a brief history of safety and health issues in the maritime Industry and discuss Federal OSHA Codes and Shipyards, Marine Terminals, Longshore and Seafood worker safety and health.
