 
With over 200 years of history, The Equinox stands as icon of New England lifestyle over the past two centuries. Known in various times as the Marsh Tavern, Thaddeus Munson's New Inn, Widow Black's Inn, Vanderlip's Hotel, The Taconic, The Orvis Hotel, and Equinox House, our 17 structures on property feature six different styles reflecting the changing times. The resort has also served as a hotbed from American revolutionaries and popular visiting spot for four different U.S. presidents.
The resort has 142 beautifully appointed guest rooms featuring handcrafted furnishings of talented local artisans and artwork. All guest rooms provide complimentary WIFI and in room safe.

Main Hotel - The average rate is $274 plus tax (Wednesday/Thursday rates are $189 and Friday/Saturday rates are $359).
Orvis Inn - The average rate is $474 plus tax (Wednesday/Thursday rates are $389 and Friday/Saturday rates are $559) The Orvis Inn is located on property at The Equinox, but not connected to the main hotel. We have a limited number of suites available at the Orvis Inn that will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.
The Equinox charges a $30 resort fee, which will be covered by the conference. The resort fee includes: wireless Internet access in guest rooms, valet and self-parking, 24-hour access to the business center, use of Equinox Spa facilities – indoor heated pool, sauna, and steam, 24-hour access to the fitness room, unlimited use of putting green and tennis courts, unlimited local calls and incoming domestic faxes, individual shuttle service throughout Manchester, in-room bottled water, daily newspaper, and access to 855 preserve trails on Mount Equinox.
If you would like to extend your stay before or after the conference, the Equinox will honor the conference rate, based on availability. You will be able to request your extended stay during the online registration process. Please do not contact the hotel directly regarding overnight accommodations.

FALCON BAR Join us at the end of the day at Falcon Bar, which serves a wide variety of wines and spirits, as well as 20 styles of internationally sourced cheese and chocolate truffles. DORMY GRILL Open seasonally, Dormy Grill is located on the deck of our
golf clubhouse. Enjoy a relaxed lunch, complemented by views of the ninth
hole's lush greens. MEET THE EQUINOX EXECUTIVE CHEF Daniel Black describes his techniques for cooking nouveau-classic French cuisine as putting a modern twist on simple and perfectly executed flavors. Drawing influence from greats like Thomas Keller, Grant Achatz and Daniel Boulud, Black presents the old world of French cuisine in a new light. Black has 12 years of professional experience and degrees from the Culinary and Hospitality Institute of Chicago and Le Cordon Bleu. He worked under Rick Turmanto at Tru while still in school, and began working at the Marriott in Oak Brook, IL with Tyler Anderson following graduation. While there, he was able to hone the skills he had learned both from school and his previous training, making “cutting edge cuisine practical and approachable.”
