The aims and objectives of the session are to:
  • develop an understanding of what outstanding looks like to Ofsted
  • explore the components of an outstanding teaching session
  • reflect upon how your organisation may be able to move towards outstanding.
It focuses on what constitutes outstanding practice, covering tips and ideas on how to move from good to outstanding as well as practical ideas on assessment for learning, target setting and progress.

Target audience

This event is targeted at teachers, tutors and assessors as well as managers responsible for quality improvement and curriculum development.
