Apprenticeships Forum
 
Discuss opportunities for members to operate as apprenticeship intermediaries and implement effective business, community, and education partners to establish meaningful registered apprenticeship programs. Walk away with tools and resources to move your idea of apprenticeship to action.

Operation: GoodJobs Pre-conference
 
In this session, Operation: GoodJobs subgrantess will discuss pain points, effective practices and strategies to improve care and service delivery for veterans and military familes to meet grant performance. This pre-conference is for Operation: GoodJobs subgrantees only.

Business Engagement Through Public/Private Partnerships One Day At a Time
 
Discuss strategies for building and developing public/private partnerships with corporate and public partners to support Goodwill employment strategies.   Goodwill members will hear from, and have an interactive dialogue with, a panel of experts on recommended strategic and practical approaches focused on programs designed to meet immediate, practical employment needs. 
 
In this session we will focus on how public/private partnerships support employers’ needs and benefits Goodwill members.

During this two-part session, Indeed will provide details about this partnership and facilitate small group discussions with Workforce Advancement professionals to learn more about their core services, the common challenges they face, and how Indeed's technology and insights might enhance their offering.

recognize news media opportunities; and

Building a Successful Foundation for Your CARF Survey
 
About the time you think you’ve got it, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards change again! Not to worry, we’re here to help. During this pre-conference, we will review the ASPIRE sections of the CARF standards most frequently applied during surveys at Goodwill organizations. We will focus on critical standards that can impact accreditation outcomes, recent standards changes and the most challenging standards for Goodwills. Whether you are due for accreditation during 2019 or you have recently completed a survey, this session will help you stay current with the process and learn ways to demonstrate conformance.

An interactive session for subgrantees including opportunities to collaborate on reentry best practices and learn innovative techniques for serving individuals with criminal records.  This pre-conference is for Young Adult LifeLaunch, Adult LifeLaunch and Goodwill Adult Reentry Project subgrantees only.

The GII Digital Skills team will discuss the importance of outcomes and how they can positively impact storytelling, mission marketing, and influence the potential for future funding. The team will share information from Google's impact report. This breakout session is for GDCA and Google IT subgrantees only.


Careers in Technology/CareerTECH IT Incubator
 
We will share insights, best practices and lessons learned around the implementation of technology training programs. Subgrantees will also discuss program sustainability to help training continue without the use of grant funds.


GoodProspects® for Careers
 
Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned from the pilot program in order to create or revise strategies moving forward. This breakout session is for GoodProspects® for Careers subgrantees only.
