RI Workshops 2018

Following on from our successful Decarbonise and ESG Solutions series,
RI Workshops returns with further events for 2018.

The RI Workshops are opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and discussion
among asset owner and investment consultants on key issues in ESG and sustainable finance today.

This year we are pleased to announce workshops in Europe focussing on
the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and in the USA, ESG in Emerging Markets.

Delegates from the below types of organisations are eligible for free attendance to the workshops:

  • Public Pension Funds
  • Corporate Pension Funds
  • Union/Taft Hartley Funds
  • Insurance Funds (Asset-Liability Management)
  • Endowments
  • Foundations
  • Large Family and Multi-Family Offices
  • Sovereign Wealth Funds
  • Pension Consultants (Non-Discretionary)**
**Pension and investment consultants considered for admission are those that primarily advise pension funds and other institutional asset owners on investments, independent from providing asset management products or discretionary investment services. For example, those that primarily provide services such as due diligence, evaluation, manager selection and monitoring on behalf of institutional asset owners, on a non-discretionary basis.

Investing in the SDGs and Measuring Impact

Research presentations and small roundtable discussions will focus on new SDG-aligned investment products and internal processes for measuring the impact and additionality of these investments. As institutional investors rise to the challenge of using the 17 SDGs as a roadmap for impact and performance measurement, questions have to be asked all along the investment chain.
