3rd Global Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Congress


CanTeen Australia is proud to be hosting the 3rd Annual Global Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Congress in Sydney, Australia. This congress will be the third in the AYA Cancer Global Accord conference series – an international collaboration between CanTeen Australia, Teenage Cancer Trust (UK) and Teen Cancer America (USA).

Building on the momentum of highly successful congresses in Edinburgh in 2016 and Atlanta in 2017, the 2018 Global AYA Cancer Congress will be a must attend event for healthcare professionals, researchers and advocates working in AYA cancer care internationally.

Location & Dates

The 2018 Global AYA Cancer Congress will take place from Tuesday 4th - Thursday 6th December 2018 at the Sheraton on the Park, Sydney Australia.


The 2018 congress will cover each step along the adolescent and young adult cancer pathway, from prevention, managing risk factors and diagnosis, through advances in treatment to survivorship, rehabilitation and long-term outcomes. The multitrack program will include a diverse range of international research and practice insights and innovations, including hot button issues such as AYA cancer biology and genomics, advances in targeted therapies, new developments in psychosocial care and the role of exercise and nutrition during and after treatment.
