Andrew Austin is the Executive
Chairman and Founder of RockRose Energy plc, a new entrant in the North Sea
established to acquire producing assets and build a portfolio of interests
where opportunities exist to maximise economic recovery and field life. Prior
to founding RockRose, Andrew was former CEO of IGas. He was responsible for its
transformation from a non-operated partner to the leading onshore hydrocarbon
producer in the United Kingdom operating on behalf of major companies including
Total, GDF and Ineos. Andrew was pivotal in the shale debate in the UK
Previously. Andrew spent 17 years working in investment banking in the City.
