  • 18.30: Meet in hotel lobby for transfer to Skansen
  • 19.00-22.00: Welcome reception at Skansen
  • Welcome reception at Skansen open-air museum

Beautifully located on the island of Djurgården, a former royal park just east of the city centre with spectacular views over the city of Stockholm, Skansen is the oldest open-air museum in the world. The venue also includes the Stockholm zoo featuring animals native to Scandinavia such as bison, brown bear, moose, grey seal, red fox, reindeer and wolverine. The many exhibits over the 75 acre site include a full replica of an average 19th century town in which craftsmen in traditional dress such as tanners, shoemakers, silversmiths, bakers and glass blowers demonstrate their skills in period surroundings. Over 150 farms and dwellings from different parts of the country were disassembled and transported to this enchanting venue.

Our Welcome Reception will take place in Solliden Restaurant located in the heart of Skansen with fabulous views of the city and harbour where you will be able to enjoy the traditional Smörgåsbord, a delicious Scandinavian feast, originating in Sweden, served buffet-style with multiple hot and cold local dishes.

All delegates attending the Welcome Reception will be given access to the outdoor museum and its exhibits all day on Sunday. Shuttle busses will leave the Clarion Hotel Sign hourly from 14.00 to Skansen. Delegates can also make their own way to the museum for the evening reception or alternatively, please meet in the hotel lobby for transfer to Skansen at 18.30.

The dress code for the Welcome Reception will be casual.

    • 20.00-23.00: Gala dinner at Winterviken

    Gala Dinner at Winterviken

Our Gala Dinner will take place in a beautiful banquet hall called Winterviken which was previously a Nobel-factory featuring original wooden beams and floors dating back to 1891, located in the leafy suburb of Aspudden.

Our journey to the area of Winterviken (the name means “winter cove”), a bay in the Malaren Lake, will be by boat and a short walk featuring spectacular views of the countryside and the renovated public recreational area including sculptures, small gardens and pebbled shores.

Owned and run by celebrity chef Markus Aujalay and MD Erika Michael the menu will be in keeping with the rustic surroundings featuring many local delicacies.

The dress code for the Gala dinner will be ‘cocktail attire' (lounge or dinner suit for men and cocktail dress/smart evening attire for ladies).
