The Investment Division of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), in partnership with the Small Business Investor Alliance, holds SBIC Regulations Training Classes in Washington, DC.
The 2018 SBIC Regulations Class will take place at the Grand Hyatt Washington on the following date:
- November 29, 2018
For license applicants, SBA requires that at least one of your investment officers attend a class prior to making a second pre-licensing investment. With few exceptions, all investment officers must attend one of the training classes prior to licensing.
REGISTRATION PRICING
The cost is $450 per person to cover materials for the class, audiovisuals, food and the meeting room. This fee must be paid in advance, by credit card, via the secure online registration form.

In order to receive credit for attendance, each individual must be present for the entire session. Therefore, we recommend that you do not try to take an early return flight on they day of the class that would require you to leave early.
*Please Note, due to high demand, attendance in each class is limited to two persons per licensee/applicant.
