Fremantle free CAT bus circle routes

The two free Central Area Transit buses (CAT) operate in a circle route around the city centre of Fremantle and stops at places of interest including Fremantle Bus and Train Station, Fremantle Arts Centre, Maritime Museum, Fremantle Markets and South Beach. The CAT bus is also accessible with a driver activated entry ramp and low floor.

Hotel Parking

A discounted vallet parking rate of $20 per day for ICTC delegates staying at the Esplanade Hotel applies at the conference venue.  
Delegates without accommodation are able to utilise the hotel's parking for $35 per day, payable on departure.  
Fremantle has a range of convenient parking options, including some limited free parking in the city centre. We recommend all visitors download the CellOPark app before visiting Fremantle. CellOPark allows you to pay for parking using your mobile phone and only charges for the exact time your vehicle is parked, saving you time and money. Disabled access

City of Fremantle has numerous ACROD bays to allow for easy and convenient access to ACROD permit holders and official disabled parking permits issued worldwide are accepted in Fremantle. Wayfinding signs

When you are exploring Fremantle keep an eye out for the wayfinding signage system. With estimated walking times, precincts, places of interest and key attractions clearly marked it makes it so much easier to find your way around the city.

Cycle Freo

Dedicated bicycle lanes throughout the city and shared cycle paths running north, south and along the Swan River make Fremantle an easy city to explore by bike. Although built on a series of hills, the most interesting parts of the city are easily accessible by bikes including the historic West End precinct, Fishing Boat Harbour, Maritime Museum, Fremantle Prison and Fremantle Market.

Bike hire

Free-wheeling Fremantle is a free bike hire service suitable for adults and children allowing riders to explore the city at their own leisurely pace. Bike are available from Fremantle Visitor Centre in Kings Square and E Bikes R Us at the E Shed Markets.

Spinway Bike Hire have automated stations outside the Esplanade Hotel and Sweetlips Fremantle. It's as simple as inserting your card and grabbing a bike and you can return it to the station 24 hours a day.

Port City Cycles has a bike for everyone, road, hybrid, tandem and kids. Hire for an hour, a day or a week.
